How many of Martin's kicks have been smothered???

He slows down and looks at the ball for AAAAGES before he kicks

Good boy Jake. That made my hair stand on end. Yeah, turning it off lasted about a minute, but it made me feel better!

He looks like he's in Auskick when he's about to kick the ball. Takes the time to ensure his form is right, but doesn't seem to realize that he is under pressure, and by the time he actually kicks it there's no chance it will ever hit a target

I can't believe you just compared him to Cox. Fair enough, let's look at the whole story and compare them at the same age.

Give him time for what?

Grimes and Tappy done nothing? Not hearing much about them on the radio, Sylvia running at 46% but at least he is getting his hand on the footy

Let's be realistic about Spencer guys, he's probably our 4th or 5th option in the ruck, so if you want to be fair, compare him to someone who's a similar option.

In normal circumstances, the order would be Jamar, Clark (as backup), Martin, Gawn, then toss a coin for Spencer and Fitzpatrick.

He's a depth player, we need them, it would be pointless to have 5 superstar ruckmen and no money for any other players.

all i am saying is he gets a blasting all the time, buit he has played 9 games, how can we judge him yet.

i chose dean cox as arguably the best ruckman in the competition.

if jake ends up even half as good as him we will be happy.

I have been wondering how Dunn would go down back for an extended time- now I know - terrible.

Gotta be time to swap Rivers and Dunn doesn't it?!

Exactly not fair to compare them, lets try Cox and Jamar and give Jamar a hard time instead

What the [censored] is the point of a video review system if they're just going to make the wrong decision anyway? #burndownaflhouse

And what's the point of it when they have only 1 or 2 angles and can't tell anyway?! We've been robbed 3 times this year now.

They've gone over the umpires audio from that goal review, the goal umpire said he believed it was a goal, yet when the video umpire said "inconclusive, umpire's call" the goal umpire calls it a point?!!!!!!

what i am suggesting is he is not doing that bad really, for a 9 games, 3 over the last 2 years. let him have some game time, and he may surprise us and become a great ruckman

we dumped jolly because we thought he wasn't good enough. and he looks pretty good at the filth. lets not judge spencer too early.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
