In the absence of any common sense forward structure at Melbourne then why not?Lets redraft next year?! eh?

And I say this because Neeld refuses, REFUSES to play No 1 pick Jack Watts in forward line when really, all is lost this season and golden opportunity presented today as it has at other times this season.

Don't give me the spiel that Garland and Rivers are the answer either because as proved today goals are easy against Greater Western Shockings Mosquito defenders, but not against reasonable( and that's all Brisbane defenders are after all) reasonable defense.

Juice Kicked 4 today at Norwood at key post, and was the best forward today and won them the game!

Never ever given consecutive run when Bailey in charge,

Injured at crucial stages,

24 yrs of age must, mature age recruit must be a better bet than any key forward at Melbourne bar Clarke.

Neeld must be rueing letting him go given scenario as played out.

I say get him back before others redraft based on his form at Norwood.

Oh come on, he was at Melbourne for six (?) seasons and gave nothing. He always played well at VFL level but never showed at AFL and was given way way too many chances. Troll thread?

Not a chance, he is great at the 2nd level but does not have it to step up the same as someone like Maric who now can't get a game at the Tiges.

Cook is a really smart player who makes good decisions and can use the ball well, if you could put his head with Juice's athletic ability you would have a world beater. It is time for Cook to step up though.

Great Idea lets bring back Juice.

Actually why stop at Juice?

* Isaac Weetra

* Jace Bode

* Cameron Hunter

* Ross Funcke

Surely all these blokes are worth another look just incase we stuffed up first time around.

Nice to see some "astute" observations weed eater! Yeah probably because he had stress fractures in his foot might just explain why you didn't see him after the early rounds last year!

Oh and one other thing...

35 goals in 25 games er, can you define anyone else in the past 6 or so years who had a better average??

Now be careful because only a few can lay claim to those figures for Melbourne!

AND finally who would you rather in the forward line at present

Sellar?

Martin?

Magner?

Dunn?

what about Spencer?

Never ever was given an extended run is my point of view and for reasons other than ability times he would have been picked if not for injury remains and probably will now pass into "What if" Pity!

C'mon rollem out and please do, do your homework! before posting again.

YOU FREAK!!!

Few had a better average because few were kicking goals. But that doesn't mean we should bring back a dud who had more than enough opportunity. He cried wolf tooooooooooooooooooo many times.

Any of those you mentioned would do better than Juice.

Missing the point here, 35 goals in 25 games!!!!

Do the homework and see for yourself,

While others were kept, others with very modest records were retained!

Worse thing is I reckon he would be a shoe in this season

Pity... eh?

Oh and in response to

Pink Floyd. Mr Dark Side of the Moon....

If any mentioned would be better then thrill me with your acumen, facts, stats, etc so a reasonable debate can ensue,eh! then why arent they producing?? Eh

and as for Sloonie Mc Floonie Looney.. ah ahem your name says it all!

HAHAHA, of course my comments are all fun and games. He almost took the cake from Brent Grgic as the biggest dud I have ever seen play at the club. He rivals Dunn and Bate but seriously, Grgic takes the cake!

Oh, Fence.....you are like a dog with a bone. Now this may surprise you but Juice (like JW) has been playing behind the ball at Norwood as well as up forward. Second efforts & tackling pressure are first and foremost now and Juice didn't have enough of these for Bails to give him a game!

I would rather Miller back. At least he is still stinking it up in the relevant competition.

You nutcase!

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

    There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

    Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
