Be interesting to see how the club handles this.

I do not care.

He plays well for Carlton they are two from two.

Pity our misfits did not play as well.

Incredible. How did you manage to get another thoughtless sledge of our club into a thread about an opposition player being charged for assault?

Surely more interesting things about this thread could be thought of, such as how will Carlton deal with this from both a PR and playing point of view. Will Scotland be suspended, fined, sacked .......?

Surely in your many years on this earth you have developed a second trick to entertain us all with. Surely ......

AoB it is of small consequence to me now wether the players of the MFC are choir boys or not.

all I want from them is to be good players for the 100+ minutes they are playing on the field.

Beyond that I do not care.

As far as Scotland is concerned he is in exactly the same position as Jurrah, innocent until proven guilty

If I am failing to entertain you that is most unfortunate.

I will try harder in the future

If you don't care about anything else then stop ruining every other thread with the same rubbish. Keep it to the threads specifically about what you do care about. Let those who are interested in that topic discuss it in peace.

This thread is about Heath Scotland's assault charge, not whether or not the MFC is playing well at the moment.

The club would probably like a Diversion and perhaps a monetary penalty which does not carry the character of a Fine but given that he's already been fined for assaulting a woman (not sure if a Conviction was recorded) he's probably looking at a Bond and Alcohol Awareness and Anger Management attendances. Maybe a couple of games sanction by the Club as an AFL lip service. What a silly man.

You are assuming he is guilty, it is only going to trial I believe.

It isn't going to Trial, only a Hearing before a Magistrate in a NSW Local Court. It seems that CCTV leaves little doubt that Scotland did indeed king hit some little fat bloke who was rendered unconscious when he was knocked to the floor and hit his head upon tiles. Scotland apparently omitted this part of the incident in his admission to the Club.

There should be an appropriate board for matters such as these.. let's call it the "who gives a [censored]" board.

I would counsel against too much of the usual schadenfreude or epicaricacy from us on this one, given recent events.

That may well be true and if so he may spend some time inside.

In that case the Blues will not need to do anything.

I will be surprised if they do much more than hit him with a wet tram ticket he is too good for them.

Of course the AFL may say he is bringing the game into disrepute and slap him around.

Probably depends on how badly they want to get at Carlton.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
