Not me. I see where you're all coming from, and I like the way the club has handled a tough week.

But I felt ashamed on Saturday afternoon, and I still do.

I support the MFC because I like footy, I don't follow it for politics or moral stands.

When the team I support put in a real effort I'll remember what pride feels like.

I don't feel particularly warm and fuzzy about all this. I never thought sponsors should be paragons of virtue and the bloke that is putting $2 million into the club is a jerk. So are many other sponsors- So is the KG Demetriou going to take Emirates sponsorship away from the wobble people over human rights issues.I wouldn;t think so. Essentially we have givers and takers in footy clubs and those rightuous souls who's hands were forced into sacking the sponsor put are takers. I just want us to play good footy and win a premiership. This aim has been set back a few years today.

I was imagining life without the dees today and even though they frustrate the hell out of me, I know my life would have a massive hole in it if they cease to exist. I know everyone who posts here, and thousands of others around the land would feel the same.

We are far from perfect, but I love us. It's a love that can't be described. You can be screwed over by a lover and cast them from your mind, a football club is different. My frustrations from this club come from me wanting them to be successful when they aren't and that is all.

I love this club, I love it's history and the fact that it is one of the oldest sporting organisations in the world. I love it's integrity, I love the colours and the way it makes me feel when I see them having a dig.

Now it's time to listen to some Muse uprising and stick my finger up to the organisation because they will try to [censored] with us but they can't do [censored]!

I have a tear in my eye today. The admiration I have for this club is immeasurable. Big companies will be falling over themselves to be involved with this integrity juggernaut. So proud of you Dees !!! Time for our boys to back it this club up ONFIELD.

Too right. Now if only the on-field performance can reflect our off-field resilience.

It's such a love-hate relationship. These are only achieved if you are passionate. We're in too deep to get out now.

I often wonder if i had gone down a different path, if my dad barracked for another team and i in his footsteps (brainwashed and all), would it be the same?

This club really frustrates the hell out of me sometimes. I have never been angrier than the levels that this club drives me to, but that's only because i care too damn much. If i had my time again would I support the Dees? You're goddamn right i would.

There's a saying in my family...

"There's two things in your life you don't change - your religion and your football team."

And as far as we're concerned they're one and the same.

I'm always proud to be a Melbourne member, regardless of their position on the ladder.

I'm also extremely proud that we have a CEO like Cameron Schwab at the helm. He's been a fantastic representative of the Club he loves over the last few months and beyond.

Go Dees!

The Bears are eing thrashed the way we should have treated them. Which tells me we, Right Now are a very poor side. But our coach is a teacher...we must climb each week. To become elite. Dam the media, as long as the club hangs tough. It just has to be done. Those who do not embrace will be cut.

Yeah, because we have a midfield of Judd and Murphy. Tonight just shows how important a brilliant midfield is.

And people ask "what do we stand for". Now everybody knows. We stand for integrity, honesty and principals of the highest order. Rare values indeed in todays society. At this moment in time I could not be prouder of the MFC.

+1

And I like demonland better when we stand together.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
