Demon attack '94'

With all the threads about great demon memories I thought is ask how many of you have/know where to get a copy of 'demon attack' - the 1994 season highlights.

I used to have the video, the highlights are amazing with jacovich, Lyon, Schwartz, Lovett and my favorite chopper Lovell all at their peaks.

If anyone knows where to get a copy I would love to know

I've got the VHS of this and have converted it to DVD - I've also got Dynamic Demons the 2000 season highlights.

The 94 one is great some good footage of Jakovich that doesn't get much play these days or is difficult to find copies of. One of the memorable segments is Sean Charles being flown to training in a helicoptor when his car broke down somewhere near the Murray as shown on channel something news.

Any chance they might spill online somewhere?

Can you burn some copies? Would love to watch both of those again.

What a fantastic year. Just going off 23 eyar old memory but didn't the Pies lose to the eagles in first final by under a goal after dropping a mark in the forward 50 in the dying minutes? I like to think we would have been a real chance had the pies won that game, saving us from playing the eagles in perth in the prelim. No fact checking, all from memory. How close am I?

Didn't Storma look delighted to have been filmed while being collected?

The "Demon Attack"  was one of my favourite videos to watch as a teenager growing up in the mid 1990s.

We had such a good team  in 1994 and yet we unfortunately never won a Flag!

The Demons were certainly crippled by injuries in 1995, 1996 and 1997.

Seriously, people forget how good a player Garry Lyon was!

Both 1994 and 1998 were huge opportunities to win Premierships that we sadly missed out on because we just couldn't win those Preliminary Finals! Argghh! So frustrating!

In 1994, we had Buckley's chance of knocking off the Synthetic Eagles. As Paul Couch said, they had good steaks over there.

1998 (and 1990) were our best shots. Unfortunately, we came up against a finals system that doomed us. Had we played under the post 2000 system, we might have won the flag that year.

We had the cattle in 1990 but we put the cart before the horse. We had the Eagles beaten before we really had.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
