Neeld in Our Current Trakkie Top

I can't stand this current Top our Coaching Team wear.

* Bailey looked stupid dressed in this top for 4 Years

* Todd Viney looks all wrong in this gear

& I hate to say it but Neeld looks all wrong also in this gear..

FFS reverse the Red & Blue & make this top look mean & lean instead of bright & gay.

Am I on my own here? I know its very minor in the scale of things however it has [censored] me off for years

& seeing Neeld in this top today just reinforced my thoughts.

Agree with you OMR. For what it's worth I also can't stand the over busy new logo either.

I don't care about the trakkie tops but I love our emblem.

Sometimes busy is good.

We aren't a cereal we are football - simple sometimes isn't better...

I think the Hawks logo looks excellent.

We're not a breakfast cereal but we're certainly not year 10 art project either. Our logo looks like the designer couldn't decide on anything and so decided to cram everything in and hope for the best.

I agree with you and I've raised it on here before, I think we should have a blue top with a bit of red on it. i was actually talking about this at the coach's lunch the other day and was reminded that Hawthorn have blue; so? There are several others that predominately use red now.

I reckon the current one looks terrible and it always looks washed out.

The Hawks one looks awful.

Emblems should have something to them, details that you are not sure of the meaning of. With a shield and some ribbon - bit of style.

You're going to an awful lot of effort to one up me on this one Rp. You've made a good case ... but since you've brought a soccer style theme into it, I'll have to say no cigar on an equalizer.

You're going to have to do better to beat my keeper.

It's still ... Range Rover 1 - Rpfc 0

I started out thinking the new logo was busy and ill considered and not a patch on the one it was replacing (the blue square with the red yoke) which I thought was a step back from the stylised demon it replaced which was worse than the......and so-on.

Now I think this logo is fantastic, has some story and a bit of longevity......does this mean I'm maturing and developing taste....who knows.

I guess I'll know I have grown up when I stop believing what I read on Demonland

lol

What are you talking about?

Apparently googling various logos is an awful lot of effort?

And I am not sure what you think you have bested rpfc on.

If it's HWMNBN, I think that recent events have clouded all issues to do with that past player.

The emblem looks great - the ADL, Haw, Rich, and Lions one I half expect to have cartoons of on ABC3...

Nice work RPFC. I appreciate logic and argument.

Of course, when you are beaten to a standstill, I guess you could resort to empty bluster and chest-beating. There are plenty of examples you too could learn from. Yoda's given some pointers in this very thread.

I love a good chest-beat, i do.

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
