That is an awesome deal. Also they did the ad very quickly. Glad to see Jack front the ad. Well done to those involved.

Does that mean we can afford to pay 100% of the salary cap now and us memebrs wont be asked for donations anymore?

If people are willing to give, you take their money, say thankyou, and try to spend on things that help win a flag.

i think we should thank Cameron Schwab for this, right guys.

Cams doing a Great Job!

Performance based contracts at this time of AFL history, wouldn't be very popular. Would they now.

Go Dees!

Congratulations to the club. Great work Schwabby and whoever else was involved.

As for Killer's acting skills, just as bad as his Mo!

it's frustrating to see some people still see negative jokes about this contract............

I wonder how they survive this season?

I am shamed to have demon supporters like that.

Always one in every crowd!

Instead of looking at the positives of just signing a record sponsorship deal

Very poor joke!

I'm taking the [censored]!

I'm a fan of Cameron.

He's been in poor form of late, but this is the kind of thing he can wrangle.

So I guess the club has a decision to make - keep a all-star CEO and put up with some of his micromanaging annoyances, or get rid of him and his talents...

The same could be said for the recruitment of Brendon Fevola?

Was Watts in his Melbourne footy gear when he did the ad or just civies?

You'd think, given EnergyWatch can fork out 6mil for a footy club, that they could afford a slightly-less-cheesy advert for their company! That was cringeworthy stuff.

Happy happy happy with the sponsorship though.

You're right, it's a bit cheesy, but still good to see Wattsy on the ad.

I'd have liked to see him on something similar to the new Bundaberg Rum 5 ad.....that would have been priceless!

Well done to the club...........a brilliant result!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
