I have read a few times that Burns has not confirmed his interest or declined to comment regarding senior coaching aspirations. I believe if Neeld were to get a senior coaching gig, Buckley would get Burns accross to the Pies in a heartbeat as an assistant.

Buckley and Sanderson are still great mates from his brief time at Collingwood.

Might have even been housemates, I believe.

I heard that Neeld & Sanderson might even switch clubs, if neither get a senior gig.

Also heard from my brother last night that the players at collingwood are not keen on Buckley as coach.

He has good sources. Might be a bit of Schadenfreud to engage in next year.

Hahaha, I love how everyone on this thread has just completely ignored, or refused to entertain, any thought of Knights coaching Melbourne Far as I'm concerned any club would be mad to give him a job at all, let alone as senior coach. If we were to get him, I don't know what I would do, but it wouldn't be good.
