I don't know if anyone will read this before the game but I suggest the following.

After the coin is tossed, when one of the captains points what direction their team is kicking, we should all stand and sing "It's a Grand Old Flag".

After the last week we've had, hopefully this will show solidarity and support for our players. Let the hair stand up on the back of their necks.

Tell/message your mates to do the same. Someone tell the Cheer Squad too. Hopefully others will join in.

Not a bad idea, but far simpler if you want to do something is to stand and sing the club song when they play the music as the players come onto the ground. I am sure if every Dee fan stood and sung the players would see and hear it. Would that make a difference, who knows?

Supporters are passionate for the club. FOr the players the club simply pays their wages. At least that's the way they play.

What a dh am I? I really thought our supporters would turn out in droves. No wonder we're a basket case. 2 players carried off in stretchers but the Dee supporters were scared of getting wet or felt it wasn't worth going. When we come out of this, you a. holes will turn up acting like it was something you did. The teams we hate have supporters with some passion. I feel sick.

I don't think it's the people who post on here who are the fair weather tossers. Write a letter to the papers.

I was there and very few sang at the game either... I reckon all of us are just a bit [censored] off and were waiting to see if the players would put in... Or maybe I'm completely wrong.

I was there CF on level 2 of the members and i stayed till the end.

The MCC was fairly full...The Southern Stand was the worry.

The MCC cop a few wacks, but the turn out wasn't too bad.

if only a few of those first Quarter points had been goals....I think the crowd wanted to be loud, but it's hard when good play is not rewarded with goals.

You might think it's bad that our supporters didn't turn out - but remember it was Carlton's HOME GAME and they should have had a better turn out, particularly after last week's performance, surely they were confident of a win? Yet the crowd wasn't all that big - what does that say about Carlton supporters?

hahahaha .. if they were passionate they would turn up to support the players, there not passionate they are down hill skiers.

Thats why the players simply play for wages ... why bother doing anything else ... nobody there to watch them.

cheer squad to start it though.

they bust their gut every week with little help from around the ground ..

It's nice to think the cheersquad can help out here but some of us are at the ground at 9am doing what's necessary for the day. Behind the scenes we put in very long hours of volunteer work, usually without a computer in our laps. If you want some Cheersquad assistance we need notice.

I can tell you about a game at Etihad Stadium next week. It's our home game. Don't sook about not liking Etihad. Just get there, be vocal, support our team....OUR TEAM....'cos if we don't noone else will

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
