Not worth the read. More dribble.

So you have no interest at all that the article covers what has been debated in about 6 separate threads on Demonland?

No interest in hearing a non-posters opinion on topics covered on Demonland?

And, more surpisingly, no opinion other than to dismiss it as dribble?

Wow.

I actually think it's an excellent article and Schwass raises a number of salient points. A man of Pagan's experience and qualifications should be an absolute must on a coaching selection panel, and his point about making Trengove Captain next year (and the reasoning for it)is not only interesting but valid.

Agree WD I think it is the best article I have read about the Dees this year.

Also the Author knows a bit about what he is talking about.

Unlike a lot of the media who are making comment.

He has been on the inside in similar circumstances.

Good piece and I agree with most of it. Only thing I disagree with is putting Ricky Bobby up for trade. Dees need to keep him, is a valuable part of our forward line and when key position players develop he will reap the benefits of being a 3-4 target.

A good article imo, even though I don't agree with all of it. Well worth the read.

Good article, well worth the read. Sounds to me that Dennis would make a good Director of coaching, we have all seen that Geelong has benifited haveing Neil Balm all be it as footy manager being the hard arse who is the face of the tough decisions.

Not a whole to argue with that is there.

I wholeheartedly agree with the notion its time to stop mucking around. The new coach will need to drag a few screaming into the real world...and dispense a few at the same time.

When you want Roses to be healthy and bllom theres some serious pruning to be done. Its going to be interesting. I dont think Mick is in the market for 2012.

Great suggestion to bring Pagan on board to help select someone.

Well written & all should be taken on board...all players are on notice after last week.

I could not agree more with that article no grudges, no rhetoric, just the truth plain and simple.

If I could write an article for the papers that would be it.

I too reckon that was a really good article, one of the best I've read about us all year. I would question trading Ricky Petterd, Jamie Bennell and maybe Joel Mac, but other than that there is pretty much nothing else there I could disagree with.

I'd be happy to see Joel Mac stay but it's a disaster having both he and Warnock in the same backline. Bennell is a player that will give you about 15 minutes a game and that's it, he looks very good for that 15 minutes but that just isn't enough.

Ricky Petterd or Colin Sylvia are pretty much the same type to me keep one and let the other go or keep one as a spare. Ricky does show a bit more aggro than Colin but Colin is a better kick.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
