  1. Sylvia - keep Bate - trade, Richmond are dumb enough Newton - to borrow from horse racing... bring out the curtain Davey - must keep, get a good sports psychologist Maric - if people want him trade him, otherwise he is VFL fodder Campbell - delist-trade Bennell - one more year Morton - TRADE.
  2. Good piece and I agree with most of it. Only thing I disagree with is putting Ricky Bobby up for trade. Dees need to keep him, is a valuable part of our forward line and when key position players develop he will reap the benefits of being a 3-4 target.
  3. Ignore Jeff. He wants a reaction.
  4. 1. 24 quarters of fair dinkum hard-at-it-efforts 2. No blowouts 3. Scully to decide either way 4. Beat Carlton by a goal after the siren from a dubious freekick - that will enrage scum supporters even more 5. Watts to dominate 6. Cale Morton to prove everyone wrong, including myself
  5. I'm with Jakovich13, time for the dees to sort their sh!t out and end this disruptive speculation. If the dees are fair dinkum about playing finals soon then players of the calibre of Sylvia are critical. It raises the question of why players aren't resigning.
  6. Must replicate the forward line pressure the Dees showed against the Tigers. Must not be intimidated and kick the ball quickly into our forward line, playing watts and jamar/martin deep.
  7. Trade bait. Has absolutely no ticker, dropped an easy overhead mark in the first qtr due to perceived pressure. To many blokes who have a crack are missing out.
  8. Very impressive as always on radio. Should make him captain now.
  9. live in canberra on 7mate. always the pub too.
  10. get there, especially with post-bye game in darwin.
  11. It is an oval with four big sticks at either end. Pretty much the same as any other ground. Get over "I hate it, I'm not going". No wonder people think Dees supporters are soft...
  12. It has to be Carlton and the Dees must set themselves for it. Plenty of ammo and lets remember the Dees were only down by a couple of kicks at half time without even trying. Carlton were described as soft on the weekend for failing to put their head over the ball. While they are a quality side, they are down-hill skiers, and have a fairly soft and short defence. Jamar and Martin could cause headaches with jurrah and watts, syliva and green. Mind you this game is more than a month away so I better just calm down a little.
  13. Out: Morton (still looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. His first kick yesterday went straight from the back pocket to a Tiger ON HIS OWN 50 m from goal... he does this week in week out. Maybe someone at the club should teach him the finer points of kicking, a few others could join the clinic) In: Tapscott
  14. Who kicks the goals if Jurrah is out? Even on a poor day he snags more than anyone else. Bailey needs to play him deep and tell him not to get sucked up the ground. Notice how Cloke never got sucked up the ground, so when a turnover happens he is already in position and gets a cheap goal (also kicked plenty of goals he earnt...) Bloody foolish to drop him now.
