even though they look like long-necked merinos, they are still dwarf camels bbo

probably where the lads get that horrid spitting habit

when they embrace their hertage honestly i'm sure they can move on

and as long as foxes stay in the suburbs and the lads stay in maldon all should be well

live and let live i say (with the obvious exceptions of course)

If anyone wants to drink diet shakes to lose weight, my tip, avoid the low carb ones, they taste awful. After trying a few flavours, I gave up and threw the rest out.

On the other hand the normal diet shakes are fine.

Haven,t said this for a while and is probably anathema to put in a post about diet shakes , but I had a slice of banana cake for lunch. It was yum.

Just watched the Adelaide showdown, great game. Both clubs have found plenty of young players. Where are ours. Clearly they were ignored by Barry Prendergast, who IMO is the worst performed employee of the MFC ever.

I remember him as an arrogant spud as well when I spoke to him.

IMO he has fu-ked us completely.

When you look at the players he drafted who have had no impact it is an unmitigated disaster.

He has had the picks to give us a midfield and has totally failed.

Hopefully our new bloke can now start drafting talented AFL footballers.

This has been done to death, but how could Prendergast draft Cook with our first pick and 2 years later not one single club even rookies him, when we delist him.

I was told that the other recruiters were stunned when he took Cook at 12.

That is but one mistake of many he made.

I accept that recruiting is not an exact science, but he has left us in this dire position, because of his poor performance.

I am just so angry.

How about two cute puppies instead?

They will take away the anger/pain.

Trust me.

I suppose that would be a change from the withered and flacid type that frequent the Gat?

Any puppies in a storm.

Well guys i had a good weekend up in Bendigo.

Five mates and I got together and chewed the fat about our long gone youth.

Visited a few old Haunts, we had one wife chauffeur us around to a few pubs we used to frequent.

Not to many beers and we all retired around mid night after a night cap single malt.

All up for brunch with wives, some of the children and grand children.

Almost a great weekend.

The downer was our old team Eaglehawk who were on top of the ladder got done by 11 goals.

It must be me!!!!

Home yesterday afternoon.

Then the crap sets is

Dees are officially the worst team in the competition and Casey could not beat time with a stick.

I learn't a couple of thinks over the weekend.

- My old cronies team is suffering the passing of time, we drank a quarter of what we would have 45 years ago

- there is way more to life than the MFC.

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak
