OK we'll make it easier to undertsand. Cook & Fitz will neeed to develop their games before either can hold down a key position and that's not going to be this year by which time Fev will be gone.

If you don't think there is something for a young forward to learn from playing with Fev you haven't been paying attention.

Have to agree to disagree, I think havin Fev there will only stunt there growth and exposure to the big boys

I just think being the main target and getting the ball kicked to you more often will help than sitting next to Fev and learning

If we didn't have anyone else to kick goals I'd say there might be some merit in getting Fev in order to give Casey some structure and make it easier for our developing forwards, but we're going to have guys like Newton, Martin, Petterd, Bate, Dunn and even Spencer up forward in addition to Howe, Cook, Fitz, etc.

As a side issue and I'm not sure if this has been picked up before or commented on, but on the Casey list is one Ryan Pendlebury. Yes, he is the brother of Scott. A mate of mine met him by chance a few days back and it turns out the Pendlebury's were (are??) Dees supporters.

If Ryan can turn out to be half as good as his brother, I trust the MFC keep a close eye on him.

I can win my own ball, play as a big or a small and I have a good left-foot kick.

Scott Pendlebury, my brother. I'm the same sort of player and I watch him every week and base my game around what he does.
