haha i was planning to do this too. Its a long shot, but the bloke is a freak and has proven that he'll kick ~3 per game even without getting alot of chances. Wonder what he'd be payign for most goals at MFC? that would almost be a sure thing if he can stay injury free?

franklin is a monty, but he will top our goalkicking provided he stays uninjured.

secondly, if he wins our goal kicking i think it will mean that there would not be big influence from players around him, and therefore we will not be winning many matches, i feel that we need a variety spread to win matches this season, so if he is averaging 4 goals a game, we are either scoring really well, or he is kicking a great percentage of them.

I agree. As great as it would be to see Jurrah win the Coleman, I would be more happy to see him snag 3 in a game and two other players get 3 each than to see him have a 9 goal haul. In my opinion it is better to have multiple options going for goal.

That being said, if he scores three goals a game while playing all 22 matches he would reach 66 goals. 66 goals MAY be enough to win the medal, but I'd expect more from the likes of Hall, Buddy and J. Riewoldt.
