Nice Banner... Only thing I would say is I think Silvia should be in the line up. Considering I think he will be our next chance at a Brownlow. Davey is also worthy of a spot... But the question is... are 7 players to much and if so who gets the chop?

Mate... I let the people decide and the voting told the story. I'd love to include everyone in the banner but that's impossible and, in the end, majority rules. 7 players = too cluttered.

Thanks for listening to my suggestion re the fading to blue around Frawley. Makes it look even better, in my opinion.

No drama's. I tried my absolute best to utilise EVERYONE'S suggestions and thoughts. :) It has come up a real treat!

Yeah fair enough, well good job... Looks pretty sweet

How about a compromise for Sylvia? When he wins the brownlow next year. He scores his spot on the demonland banner... That will get him working hard over the pre-season.. Ha

Love it. But I notice a couple of changes. I am drawn to the end of Jimmys' nose now for some reason. Grimes's neck is pixelated and I'm not liking the gap between Frawley and Scully.

Anybody else notice this? I can learn to accept it but it is all I notice. Feedback.

edit- aww what happened to the red background? It was fresh and bold. It made a statement.

I'm needing Jurrahs' left shoulder visible over Scullys' right shoulder, Scully and Frawley touching (move Scully to the right a couple of mm) and that white stuff has to come off the end of Jimmys' nose. Or you can tell me to get stuffed B)

and sculls face has taken on a distinct indiginous colour

BTW don't mind the loss of red background

Also noticed there is more of players top of heads and Jimmys cap is more visible. Plus "demonland"/"est 200"/ribbon is slightly higher up - all of which is ok

would prefer Jimmy with a red'n'blue cap though

Hahaha Scullys' face looked a little glossy before, now it looks like he's been running for hours (as he does)

I like the new picture of Jurrah but to me it looks like he has just been "plonked" in between Grimes and Sculldog. He is not commanding his own space. Plus the gap between the dog and Frawlster. Probably nitpicking..

Good work de gloving Green! I imagine that would have been hard

And then there were 7. - Davey and Sylvia just added

Watts and Jamar will be starting to feel left out.

We can't have everyone! :P

plenty of room left on my screen resolution :)

P.S. noticed grimes scaled down a little for equivalence - good one

P.P.S. still thinks sculls face a bit purplish

P.P.P.S. I like it though, the inprovements work

the sign in logo is block scully and frawley

You need a screen 1280 pixels or wider for the 'sign in' module not to overlap.

This messageboard has a variable width template, so that it adjusts to the size of the screen it is being viewed on.

I can only assume you have a (much older) screen which is only 1024 pixels wide.

Do yourself a favour and buy yourself a higher resolution screen (assuming your computer can support it). You'll pay about $130.

I don't know what DL looks on iphone as I don't have one, but generally speaking iphones and the like are best suited to viewing sites specifically designed for them, such as Twitter and Facebook.

I have the same problem and was wondering how to fix it (its a shame to hide such a fantastic banner!). Very helpful M9. Thanks!

Really great job. I love the 7 players, the background colour, the lighting and the balance. Much improved since the first try.

No may I suggest you stop listening to the anally retentive complaints of people who probably don't understand how time consuming every tiny change can be? It's looking pretty sweet as is! :)

Actually most of the recent changes seem to have been initiated by the administration

I also don't think any posters were being anally retentive and were quite cogniscent of the effort required for changes

It struck me that it was all conducted in a constructive, cooperative, polite and helpful manner

Some people seem to just look for something/someone to whinge about

Cheers

So Demonland has tinkered with MY final result.

Ahh well... if people thinks it is now even better then I'm all for it too. It's mainly just more players have come in and there are different images of the players and the visual effects from the players that I had on them have now gone (including on Jimmy). But apart from that...!! :P

Nah we're all in on this and I find it better this way than one person merely doing the job and bang it's done without any support or opinion from the community that it's for.

Re Jurrah... what does it look like he's about to do??? Col and Tom better look out - specciiiiiiiiiiie!!!

Calm down, it was clearly a tongue in cheek comment. Sheesh!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
