According to the Hun on twitter he is unhappy and may enter the draft:

David Cloke throws Travis's name into trade mix.

Says not happy at being left out of Pies leadership group

& could put himself in draft. Odd

are they serious?

Is winning a flag not enough??!

Won't enter the draft, won't leave Collingwood.

Just biding his time to get the deal he wants and hoping this media scrutiny will speed things up.

Just on SEN, sounded more like contract negotiations have stalled. Premiership winning 23 yo KPF, just took the most contested marks in the comp. I know his old man is a bit mad but we should be in his ear.

I doubt he'd be going anywhere but the least we could do is push up the price for Collingwood. David is talking about nominating Travis for the draft and we have plenty of cap space. If we could entice him over for dollars it costs us nothing else, it would be a massive get.

If we can get him in the preseason draftit would be a good get. Doubt that others will pass a premiership player regardless of his erratic kicking to get to us. Would give the gold coast a good target up forward....

I agree. I think we could use him as that tall between FF & HF for a year or 2 @ least, then with a view to possibly making him a CHB, as soon as watts is ready to take the mantle. In that time I expect one of our Rucks will have stepped it up as well.

I wonder If he could become a CHB going forward. Has anyone taken note of his field kicking & general reading of the play?

A fat 3 year contract could be useful.

Approaching 24 Yrs of age.

You'd think he'd actully enter the draft not the psd ( unless he particularly wants to go to a particular club) unlikely to happen but we'd be mad not to consider him.

Cheap shots at Terry Wallace aside, he believed Melbourne should have been in Cloke's ear as soon as they heard about his news, and suggested we offered pick 12. His reasoning was that you only get 1 shot every 4 or 5 years for a proven KPF, and for pick 12, it would have been worth the punt.

I don't rate him (Wallace) at all, as a man, as a player and as a coach, but in the media his input is more valid I believe.

I know it's a public forum, but see if you can put an opinion to this comment without using the standard Wallace bashing!!!!

There was a rumour Carlton thought seriously about doing similar. Going to give some interesting flavour, possibly, to the drafts. He, Cloke wouldn't be only one to walk out and into draft as result of failed trading/ contracts

23 year old Full Forward. Can kick 60m goals - something Melbourne has lacked. Premiership player. Kicked 38 goals this season (and 40 points!!!).

Bloody hard not to consider him.

If we got Hale and we got 38 goals a season out of him I would have been stoked.

BTW - I'm not a big fan of Trav, but sh!t, he fills that need.

Old man's an idiot.

Disagree he now stands to hold Collingwood to ransom ... or he goes to the Gold Coast for big money & a LT contract.

Wonder how much more $$ Gold Coast have got. He would be a big get for GC. They haven't really got anyone for up forward who is "big". Unless you consider K.Hunt that option. :P

Scott Clayton has done extremely well in securing 3 of the compo picks back through trades for the GC. They get up to 5 years to use them. Huge coup if you ask me. Especially since GWS will rape the draft in the next two years. Big chance to build and strengthen their list. Smart operator.

What about the other premiership player they have running around up there - N Ablett?

Cloke's miles ahead of him, but I'd expect if they gave Nath a contract that's the type of position he'd be playing.

Would be a relatively cheap pickup for GC . Hunt will mainly play down back

Have the Pies shot themselves in the foot here ? Goes to gc possibly for no compensation! Intriguing lol

Wallace was a Damm good footballer particularly while playing at Hawthorn, regardless of his other Qualities which like you i find hard to rate.

But if you grew up watching the Dawks in the 70's & early 80's Wallace could certainly play. He fell out with Allan Jeans after the last Q of the 84 Grand Final i have heard.

Oh and yes if Cloke is available we should have a crack at him-for all his Faults (kicking Style) he is a big lump who can take Strong Grabs-I think that is what we are looking for!!!

Pies might have to bend over to the Cloke's demands. They've moved on J.Anthony to Swans I think. Can't imagine the Pies losing him. Will test the "side-by-side" that they apparently live by.

No doubt, would be huge for GC. Massive.

I would have thought you should be asking ... How much have Collingwood got? Cloke can now write his own contract. If Pies dont sign it he walks.

I don't rate Wallace as a player because a player would leave incidents on the field, not take them off like he did with Grinter.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
