The difference being Norm Smith left due to bad management whereas Bruce left due to good management.

Yep.

That's the only difference between Norm Smith and Cameron Bruce. B)

Yeah, and in other news, I think it's unfair the way Norm Smith was sacked.

But then again he may have deserved it. We'll never know.

Let's just drop it and move on...

Don't you understand my post or are you attempting humour?

The latter, hence the stupidly annoying cigarette smoking Demon that I just hate, the swarmy little thing.

Did I mention I don't like a particular emoticon?

Your post was far too confusing.

On that most recent relevant topic - I'd probably put a young player on him who needs to see, first hand, how hard you need to run for four quarters at AFL level - maybe a Bennell?

It was good to see Yesterday as i was reading the "heart beat" magazine, that Cameron Bruce got one paragraph, that had obviously been added as an after thought.

Sadly that is how you will be remembered Cameron (your choice).

He is excited and looking forward to wearing the Hawthorn jumper next year. I F@#$ing Despise Hawthorn.

Time to move on peeps. He is opposition fodder now.

It's all good and well to say 'let's move on' but who will we be watching Round 2?

I will watch Cam looking awful in his trakkies, Moloney posturing like a bull, and Hodge attempting to pry Brent off of him.

Demonland started in 2000 and in our first full year (2001) we instituted a Player of the Week.

I've just been able to access our archives and found that our very first POTW was ... (drum roll) ... a young Cameron Bruce

Cameron Bruce - Round 1, 2001

Cameron Bruce showed that he has earnt his place in the team. After missing last year's Grand Final with injury, Cameron made his return with some strong marking, silky skills, a few blind turns and some pin-point passes.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
