Not sure if this needs a thread of its own, but I think it's pretty big news if he misses. He normally kills Melbourne when we play them.

Also noted of the Adelaide website that Neil Craig isn't expecting the Crows to show form until Round 4+. Would be nice to get a win against them just before they hit their peak.

Edit: Crows calling it a corked knee.

Excellent. I was scouting them on TV on the week-end, and noticed that he was not right. Something wrong with his knee. Burton was poor too, so that should go in our favour as he's killed us many at time over at AAMI.

I wish them all the best in their recoveries. With that out of the way, WOOHOO! I'm gonna high five the dog that's awesome news. Hopefully their midfield come down with Polio and Neil Craig gets the plague. Nah, get well soon.. Go DEES!

i think i would rather he got through on a last minute fitness test, because he looked very slow and under done on the weekend.

i would also be happy if Knights and Van Berlo played as i think they would both be under done also

I wouldn't be celebrating anything. As soon as we do that, we switch off mentally.

Go out there with our own agenda, & then beat whoever rolls up for the opposition.

Lance Franklin & a few others didn't play for the Thugs in Round 1, & look what happened....

If the players did that, I'd be mad at them. But what's the harm in me doing it? It's not as though my attitude will affect how the players play.

I have followed the Demons for too long. When the MFC are Favorites we seem to always lose & usually badly.

This is a Public Forum, who knows who reads these Rants??

Give the opposition nothing except directions back to the airport sunday night Chook!!

Sportsbet.

Head to Head

Demons - 2.60

Crows - 1.50

Seems to me that most people on this site seems to think we are favorites, it's pretty clear that we aren't and after coming off one great game doesn't mean that we should be favorites. Look at Essendon they had a good game against geelong except for the last quarter and then got thumped by freo.

IF the boys play well, they can beat anybody they have. It's more a matter of weather the dee's show up, our own worst enemy.

IF the boys play like they did vs collingwood, than it dosen't matter who they have. :)

We're in danger of being 'hit on the rebound' just like we hit Collingwood.

Adelaide have a LOT to lose this week.

0-3 means major problems for any top-4 chances which Adelaide might still pretend to have.

Still, if we come in thinking 'we've got a chance to hunt this lot down', we might just do it.

Interesting Stat that FC bought up last night

Round 1 The Lowest Interchange Rotations

Round 2 The Highest Rotations

I think DB is onto something! B)

Green being knocked out wouldve been a big part of that.

Does that make it fair to say an injury like his would've put us at a significant disadvantage against the hawks?

On triple M, I think it was Danny Frawley, before the cats game yesterday i heard say that a game-ending injury in the 1st quarter increases a team's chances of losing by 10%.

I think it is even more.

It has been a while since we have beaten the crows. Even with some poor form and Goodwin out I think we would still have to play some damn good footy to get over the line.

Could be an interesting game.

We ran Adelaide around in a practice game over there in a pretty feral environment. A little bit of inexperience and some poor umpiring cost us that game. It'll be different at the "G" with plenty of red and blue support and a team of youngsters that are beginning to believe.

Could be part of the answer, although he did come back on later.

I just found it amazing we went from one extreme to the other and the score lines were also so extreme.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die!
