Pool party in well..the pool..lol. Had Spanish Inquisistion type interuptions to classes.. Jungle roped all the stairs... completely swapped two rooms..that seriously played with the tiny mind of the brutal sadistic French teacher ( classic ) Redecorated a Maths room with row boat from playground.. fishing nets and 2000 reject tennis ball...as all we ever heard was his @#$%ing fishing and tennis stories !!

I laughed... at the poor imagination of the Xavier boys. Egg throwing, really? lame!

We staged an entire terrorist takeover during our muckup day, managed to get 98% of the chairs in the school onto the roof of the building, played porn over the loud speaker, and hid alarm clocks in the vents that went off every few minutes. It took them weeks to find and get rid of them all.

If you're gonna get into trouble on muckup day (and you should!), at least make it worth while. Egg throwing... pfft!

pie in the sky, very hard to believe.

I think you should have more respect for your school, and your school has given you reason to be, by year 12.

Agree with Hannibal's final statement.

You obviously didn't go to the school I did.

Put toothpaste in an egg and throw it at something. Try washing that [censored] off.

Those things were very easy to execute in a small school, and they weren't at all harmful in a physical sense or got any of us into any major trouble.

A few years before us, the year 12 students released a whole lot of baby chickens in the school grounds and some of them died. They nearly got muck up day celebrations banned for all future year 12s. That's an example of serious stupidity and unnecessary cruelty.

By the time you graduate High School, you should be mature enough to know that throwing eggs is lame and potentially very dangerous.

How is egg throwing Dangerous??? We are now a civilization of softies aern't we.

Am I missig something here? An egg hitting you with one of its tips is not soft by any means.

And bringing up ww1? Pull out some more irrelevant drivel please. So according to you... Nothing is dangerous unless it is on par with what the diggers experienced. Pull your head out!

I never said he was. But if you know anything about the ANZACs you would at least know that irreverence and larrikanism were some of the qualities that made them what they were. But anyway this is getting off the topic of a wonderfully insightful thread about how 18yo boys are munters when given the chance. I suggest if you have further problems with my posts we meet up one morning and we duel with eggs at 20 paces.

Im a current xavier student

can all the people getting stuck into dan hannerbry and xavier quietly f* off

It will not affect his carrer it will help him in the sense that he now knows how the media makes up false allegations and play with the truth

Sure he threw some eggs but get a life, seriously this wont affect his VCE or his AFL carrer

The school will still allow dan to sit all of his exams and go to the end of year dinner

And all the people bagging xavier college, its a fantastic school and everyone at the school arent rich little pricks

Our parents have worked hard to give us a good education, your just a tad jealous

It's not the egg-throwing. It's the fact that he's an AFL player who clearly hasn't thought about how this may have affected his career.

And for the record, I've never thrown an egg in my life.

Maybe you have never thrown an egg in your life cause your too busy worrying about other peoples lifes

get off his back, Dan has done more than you will ever do mate

What if he cant sit his VCE exams because of this then has a career ending injury in the off season?

Pretty f***ed then

I go to xavier and ummmm they can sit their exams so he is fine and you are wrong

And i think he will learn his lesson from this and not do stupid things that will reflect negatively on his afl carrer

Just dumb really. Sounds like a weak follower to me.

If you knew him you would understand that he was captin of the first football, sports captin and a top bloke.

He wasnt a follower, you dont know him so you cant comment on him you stupid F*&%

Never met a bloke from that school that I didn't think was an F-wit. Throwing eggs at girls and making death threats. Awesome. Muck up day is the biggest load of horse excrement since introduction of the 50m penalty.

Stop:Jurrah. The media don't give a #### about Catholics. Catholic boy schools on the other hand.........

Yeah well done mate................................. the IRA will F*&% you up

Gee, I'm sorry I had a different opinion. This is a forum. It's made for discussion. I had a point of view, and it seems like close to everyone else had a different one. That's fine. There mighn't be a right or wrong one, but I'll admit that the way I said what I said made me sound like a snob.

But for people to react like the above is just a little bit annoying to me. I'm not sure exactly how mozza knows I have, and will never, achieve anything in my life.

Posting this might be a mistake. I guess DemonDefined will just come back and have another go at my username.

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm

    DEFUSE THE BOMBERS by Meggs

Last Saturday’s crushing loss to Fremantle, after being three goals ahead at three quarter time, should be motivation enough to bounce back for this very winnable Round 5 clash at Windy Hill. A first-time venue for the Melbourne AFLW team, this should be a familiar suburban, windy, footy environment for the players.   Essendon were brave and competitive last week against ladder leader Adelaide at Sturt’s home ground. A familiar name, Maddison Gay, was the Bombers best player with

    BLOW THE SIREN by Meggs

Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    GETAWAY by Meggs

Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval. It promises to be keenly contested, though Fremantle is the bookies clear favourite.  If we lose, finals could be remoter than Rottnest Island especially following on from the Dees 50-point dismantlement by North Melbourne last Sunday.  There are 8 remaining matches, over the next 7 weeks.  To Meggs’

    DRUBBING by Meggs

With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    GARNER STRENGTH by Meggs

In keeping with our tough draw theme, Week 3 sees Melbourne take on flag favourites, North Melbourne, at Casey Fields this Sunday at 1:05pm.  The weather forecast looks dry, a coolish 14 degrees and will be characteristically gusty.  Remember when Casey Fields was considered our fortress?  The Demons have lost two of their past three matches at the Field of Dreams, so opposition teams commute down the Princes Highway with more optimism these days.  The Dees held the highe

    ALLY’S FIELDS by Meggs

It was a sunny morning at Casey Fields, as Demon supporters young and old formed a guard of honour for fan favourite and 50-gamer Alyssa Bannan.  Banno’s banner stated the speedster was the ‘fastest 50 games’ by an AFLW player ever.   For Dees supporters, today was not our day and unfortunately not for Banno either. A couple of opportunities emerged for our number 6 but alas there was no sizzle.   Brisbane atoned for last week’s record loss to North Melbourne, comprehensively out
