not so miraculous.. I broke the same bone many years ago skiing...(well hell I am a Melbourne supporter :lol: ). I didnt have access to the wonder medicine of now ..nor was it plated.. I was jogging back on it in 3 weeks (heavily strapped) and running in 5.. Yep it hurt a bit .. As many state its non weight bearing.... just dont knock it when broekn though... smarts a bit. .

I suspect it wasnt a clean break for Pendles and Im not surprised that much.. .well a little..2 weeks at elite level.. fair effort...i would have thought 3 to be back at training.

Now whats the bet the first tackle he gets is a good whack to that leg :rolleyes:

He would also have a hell of a lot of plates, rods and pins holding his leg together (making it stronger than if it wasn't broken).

And may ruin his future- re Egan at Geelong

What we really need is the Collingwood Football Club doctor.

Their blokes break legs and they're back in the team 13 days later. Our blokes break a leg and they're in moonboots for three months!

Maybe some of those players were continuing to play with stress fractures untill it was deemed time to go to the surgeon.

FYI I once broke my fibula and walked around on it for 2 weeks before finding out it was broken.

Wasn't in any pain, just could feel the bones grinding a bit so I got it checked out again (the first doctor only looked at my ankle)
