It is a unique number for a unique player.

By the end of his career he will be the most famous number 48 of all time in AFL/VFL history.

And Greg Blewett was my favourite player and is still my favourite player of all time. He had the most stylish cover drive I've ever witnessed and he pulled the ball better than Ponting. When he was on, he was brilliant to watch. He basically made me follow the Redbacks...that and I was born in Adelaide. Proud Victorian in the winter months and South Australian in the summer.

A good thread for my first post. I agree with most that Jurrah should keep the number 48 and make it his own, though I still wouldn't mind if he changed to a lower number either. I'd choose number 9. Just as long as he doesn't change it soon after I get 48 on my new jumper next year.
