Cant wait for Strauss!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not good that Grimes started off with only probably being out for 3 weeks now listed to round 5. Really is a bit of a worry

'mousey', I hope he's playing at trevor barker oval this week.

I'd like to see that! :)

Is that where casey plays this week?

Buckley missing to rd 5 too is a shame. Although he has not been great so far, he does provide much needed run.

Bennell i would think would be pretty safe, until Rohan Bail and Strauss come in.

According to that list, Robbo should have played on the weekend. Where's alpha33's list?

He played with Casey.

He is probably 2 to 3 weeks away from AFL selection.

For most injured players there is likely to be 1 or 2 weeks with the VFL to be in AFL condition.

Yeah, we're down @ Sandy v Zebras for Rnd - 1, Sunday.

Bennell I thought actually looked fairly good. I would like to see him play on v PA & Tiges.

Jetta may need a rest for Maric soon.

We play @ Subiaco, Rnd 7, that would be good to have them back for the trip over so their family & friends could get to see them play.

How accurate is this report of all the players please? I know for a fact that Belly's thumb was more than a fracture. It was shattered in 3 places, pinned and plated. A 4 week injury if all goes according to plan.

Considering he missed most of last season with similar injury I'd be very very surprised if he is back that soon. In fact I'd be surprised if we see him until very late in the season if at all.

The Garland - Round 17 return is a long range forecast. I would assume that would be for a possible return to Casey. I'm thinking season for him.

If the forecast is correct, they can take over at the weather bureau.

What the Feck is with Whelan's 8 week calf injury.

Far out

Termed an old mans injury, unfortunately once you start doing calf muscles as a footy player they are very hard to get over and tend to reoccur often. Might not see much of Wheels again which would be really disappointing as I love watching his rugby style tackles and bumps!

If I believed that I'd quit.

No wonder Grimes is setting himself up as my new possible future favourite...if Wheels ever retired

The 16 weeks (4 months give or take) was the length of time estimated on the Melbourne website.

I'm not sure where they get a lot of their information from, but generally when I've looked at it, the estimates and injury descriptions have been reasonably accurate.

Just goes to show you need to check with the player where possible. The papers seem to me to guess most of the time. Having said that you are hard pressed to get info from a player when it is minor and not as obvious.

Well then, you've got the ability to post, tell us then, don't tease us. Whats your information???

Could we be seeing the unfurling of 16hotgod? I hope not...just yet. Wheels still has something left. I can't believe it's 8 weeks though. Must be pretty bad. Hope it's not to do with BB's fitness regime. Soft tissue injuries...
