Didn't Kolt play well at VFL yesterday? Might think of putting him in as sub. Chandler a rest if he needs it. Woey a full game and Bowey up somewhere would be interesting. Definitely a danger game though isn't it, not a walk in the park, but if we don't win well it will be alarm bells. Wouldn't rest Windsor, the kid just wants to work I'd keep him in and get him proper match fit, if he isn't already, he's awesome!

I thought Sparrow played well and ANB was very good IMO. They could get more mid minutes allowing Track to play a larger role forward. Woey played very well in the last q. Hopefully the 'AFL oenny' has dropped for him and he can take the next step. Not sure how Goody will view Disco's last 2 games? Whether he has played his role to an acceptable level? We do not always see what the coaches see. It's wait and see at selection. I would give him another go against WCE. No one else to bring in either.

Big take away from all this is don't let the other team get a 6 goal head start, then all the other [censored] doesn't matter nearly as much. Still livid at the umps and the whole system, it's a shocker and it needs to be consistent, if it isn't consistent across the board then it's corrupt. Sydney are so impressive offensively and defensively and are clearly the number 1 seed at the moment. However, Sydney are disgraceful in grand finals under Longmire. Why would this year be any different? And what did Jordon get up to over summer? Has become an accomplished player.

I think the perception is there because of the number of centre clearance goals they got … was it 5 on the night? Almost half there goals? killed our momentum.

Good questions. Laurie - absolutely got better as the game went on. Played the new Melbourne game style, looked for the centring kick and didn’t blaze away inside 50. jefferson - I wouldn’t say leading? That was also some bad delivery and also very Brown focused. Jefferson either played high getting that outlet kick from D50 or he was the deepest forward and it was on his head. He was playing on an AFL defender in Young, who is older, bigger and stronger but wasn’t beaten. kolt - white was the driving mid, Kolt still hangs back a little. There were a couple of times in the final quarter where Kolt let the play happen instead of attacking the ball, pushing through the contest and then going for goal - like Trac or Kozzie do. He’s young and I think he’ll get there, but I’d like to see him being more on the move.

Just a thought: If - and I am certainly not expecting it, let alone wishing it - we don't get to the pointiest end of 2024, I'd look forward to how the AFL spins an all-Sydney GF!
