I just want to see the boys continue to play the high-pressure game they've been playing for the majority of this season. If they do that, Richmond will have to play at their best to win. At this stage, I can live with any result where that is the standard.

I think they were playing similarly 'poor ' this time last year. Unfortunately, I think they'll ramp up in the second half of the season.

Both decisions were borderline, not terrible. I can't see all the fuss.

Hardwick has been able to dig the Tigers out of a hole several times over his tenure. I hope like hell we can make the hole a little deeper on Sunday night. As exciting as it would be, I don't think they'll go with Petracca yet. A week or two away, I reckon.

Also, unlikely to win a premiership without finals experience.

This. One reason we've improved is because we're able to transfer our inside ball quicker and more efficiently to the outside creating meaningful clearances. That requires a good balance of toughness, speed, fitness and skill in-close. M.Jones brings two of those attributes (speed and fitness), with the former being particularly valuable to a side lacking a little in that area. He makes glaring mistakes on the odd occasion but for now, his ability to work hard both ways gives him more than enough credit to hold his spot.

I like him at half back/kicking in, just needs to work out how to get a few more cheap possies and he'll be very dangerous.

Whately is a class act. He laughed at the prospect of Melbourne making finals after a decade of nothingness. Hardly controversial.

If we have to choose between Pederson and Frost, I'd rather Pedo for the here and now but can understand wanting to get Frost up and going (he's showing some positive signs). It's a tough call.

I think half back is his spot but agree he hasn't found his touch yet this season.

Interesting leaderboard. Gawn deserves to be higher - his value to the side is huge. I would even venture as far as saying, no Gawn, no Melbourne. That said, I can see why the other blokes are up there.

A low act. Could have taken possession of the ball, left the ground - absolutely cowardly.

Don't think they should drop him but wish Frost would hang on to those regulation lead-up marks - drives me nuts. That's all I got - cheers!

So far, so good. He looks tough around the contest and more importantly, made good decisions.

Hard to say when Petracca should play. We need to see whether he can run out a full game at VFL level (at full intensity, Frankston doesn't count) before we'll have an indication. I'd rather we didn't have to carry too many young fellas who can't quite run out games.

I can't recall a case in recent times, where a guy has raised an elbow in that manner and gotten away with it. If, for example, Joel Selwood was the instigator, do you really believe the tribunal would have let it go?

I think the fact that most on here successfully predicted the tribunal result shows that claims about inconsistency at the tribunal are overplayed. It was definitely a reportable offence and one week is fair.

An absolute legend of our game. Hopefully he comes back. Easily my fave non-MFC player and his columns in the HUN are just about the only sensible sports writing in that paper.

Boys didn't work hard enough for this to be an option. It's not just delivery into the forward line that is hurting us, it's working hard to get them on the hop so that the forward line opens up. We're bombing away because our options have dried up.
