If you're alluding to Frost's inclusion here, I don't think he contributes in the same way as a classic tall. He's not terrible below his knees, is very quick and can run all day. It's hard to argue that any team that has Pederson as a second ruck is going in top heavy. I think we have the balance right, however, I do worry about the short break and expected a few more changes.

Surprised we didn't see a few more changes with the short week but happy with the lineup.

Hulk is already the best one-on-one forward in the game and he now draws a second and third defender to every contest, opening things up for our other forwards. I love how he is now getting on his bike and getting more ball higher up the ground, further opening doors for others. Absolutely crucial member of our side.

Strong and rarely loses a contest when the ball hits the ground. We're a better side with him in it.

The perfect back up for Gawn. I hope he is fit and firing asap.

We had big issues getting clearances against Richmond when Gawn was rested. Would love if one of those blokes could at least compete a little better in ruck contests. I like Pedo, but he gives nothing in there.

I'm not going to throw any names out there because most guys are doing their bit but I hope we are proactive and freshen up the line up given the short week. We have some depth, we should use it.

Totally agree with this. Max is the most important player on our list by a mile. Gives us an advantage in the middle in every game, regardless of opponent. North have a very good forward line and play a good brand but they too rely heavily on their ruck. Currently a 4-6 finish looks about right for them, however, I would say they are a fringe top-eight team without him.

Yep. Bugg is one of those players I would absolutely loathe at another club. Pesky, trash-talking show pony that annoys the hell out of the opposition. That said, he wears a demon jumper, so he's great.

You're probably right Sue. I'm just keen to see what our performances mean against teams that aren't in complete meltdown. Hopefully the North game is an accurate reflection of where we're at.

I'm not quite willing to rip the lid off yet. I hope we're up for the contest next week after playing two sides bereft of form and confidence. I hope Riewoldt and Montagna get up for next week and we put on a show against a side roughly at the same stage as us. Looking forward to it!
