  1. Reminded me of Jack T's highlights.
  2. Wouldn't be surprised at all if its Lever. Goods played as a rebounding defender as a kid, is 194 and could play in almost any position as required by the team. Maybe Roos and co either see a similarity in either the person or role flexibility that he could offer.
  3. Suspect some of the younger ones Viney and Hogan will add something as we hope will Lumumba and Garlett. So my guess is that we will stand or fall on the performance of our ruck stocks and the 2015 out of contract players on 'death row' . Depth if you like eg. Garland, Bail, Fitzpatrick etc. We should be well placed with young players on the books after the ND - Salem, JKH, King, Frost, Brayshaw, Lever, 43 and 53. Believe something good will come from what appears to be the young talented group. Should be capable of being competitive and causing the odd upset or two. Next year we can really crank up the involvement in FA with serious $$$
  4. Yes,haven't paid overs, leave ourselves well placed for next year for FA attack and 5 or 6 of our own out of contract next year, playing for their lives. Roos always said we are coming from a long way back, just another stepping stone.
  5. Happy birthday Nasher, I think you are you my grandson?
  6. Garlett, Lumumba and potentially Greene eh. Where's Rudi Webster these days?
  7. Very conflicted like many on here. Just a terrific young bloke with a decent head on his shoulders and has faced up to everything manfully.
  8. Seems to have the tough nugget, left foot characteristics of a few of the Swans midfielders. Might not be out of the question.
  9. Just hope we don't end up being Collinwood's used problem lot.
  10. Full review of all player movement from top to bottom required incorporating all matters likely to impact it from mature aged rookies to COLA . I feel if the AFL don't address the anomalies, secrecy and transparency the clocks ticking, if it isn't already.
  11. Griffen today, Dangerfield tomorrow. Al gets lost in the wash?
  12. Essendon and their players/former players should end up with a rightly deserved and well earned problem here.
  13. The player movement fiasco just gets bigger and bigger. The hole just gets deeper and deeper for the AFL.
  14. What an absolute corker!LEL The clubs trade result might not be all that different, but the moral behaviour couldn't be more opposite What sort of things are the AFL rewarding here? AFL can't wipe their hands of this so easily and more importantly as a major sporting body shouldn't be sending the message that's exactly what they are trying to do. Shocker if true.
  15. Cooney cooked. Bone on bone in the knees. Been a good player, but I wouldn't have thought he suits us.
  16. One way of dropping a line while we wait for some draft action.
  17. Confused. Deals done isn't it? Geelong pick 2 straight to Collingwood.
  18. Roos not a fan of Free Agency, 'but it is what it is'. But our recruiting team showed they knew how to deal with this/play the new game last year, now have pick three and Stretch in the bag for unders. Looking forward to what unfolds now.
  19. Frawley on very big bucks at Hawthorn, has performed only fairly, from a bottom club, reputed to have a (unconfirmed) back issue and played no part in winning any premierships. I imagine a number of senior premiership players at the Hawks are never ever going to see this type of dough. Hope the white ants have just entered the building.
  20. Maybe the Swans could be looking for a first round pick now and we could be able to help out for the right deal.
  21. Jesus would you buy a used car from that lot? Well done boys.
  22. Series of soft tissue injuries 2014, now moves with the speed of a glacier. Been a great player for Hawthorn but I reckon he might be cooked.
  23. Barassi was like a fearless, unstoppable, tank. Tulip was like an exquisitely skilled surgeon who just took his opponents apart . Impossible to compare the two really, but the thing they had in common was they were both terrific leaders of our club, albeit in vastly entirely different eras of club performance.
  24. Yep the old year of pain, will he sign? wont he sign? And meanwhile back at the Ranch, Hawthorn, Geelong and Swans plan their attack. The Frawley Game. Kinda familiar
  25. Tks C&B never knew how to operate the ignore button before
