  1. Most unbalanced 12 vs 13 ive seen in ages….
  2. More like steaming…..
  3. I think we should get a ‘Mac Andrew’ pick, end of second round, to give us some value back for what we got ripped out from us on the whim of the AFL.
  4. First round : take to draft, or split and take one of these to draft and other for Whitney (Houston). Pick up f/s (YZE) and Mentha (NGA) as late picks/ rookies. Use pick for Nibbler to add to 2nd round and move up for another first rounder? Use other picks to take best available. Move first 2025 pick back to multiple second round picks and /or first round this year +second next year (Kalani White and another NGA prospect coming through). needs: Midfield , high quality disposals and foot speed , Ruck backup, Key pos forward.
  5. When he kicked his goal on Saturday night, the screen had his DE at 53%. He is an elite runner, and a great team man. If we can replace him with elite disposal and decision making, we may be better off in the long term. He goes as a premiership hero. He goes with my best wishes and a hope we can get an OK retrurn in the trade period.
  6. If it was pick 16-18 then… maybe pick 6 should be better than Houston in this draft. go to the draft, offer a second rounder at best. nga and the f/s pickups later.
  7. Question to the 3 panellists: who are our unsung heroes? Previously it was nibbler, but not the HHF role is well known and often trotted out by the media. Who are the unsung heroes who have carried us this year, and who could step into the sunshine with a breakout 2025?
  8. I want to give as big shout out to Chandler. From where i was sitting he worked hard sally night doing heaps of unrewarded things.
  9. I’ll be there to support the team. Go Dees!
  10. I tipped the home teams except for the saints. No idea if it will play out that way, most tops turvy season i can remember..
  11. Thanks @WalkingCivilWar, champion effort as usual. Notes: Ben Brown in ‘trainers blues’ rather than team reds? I understand his knee must be problematic, but is he likely to be around the club in a different capacity next year? he seems like a ripping bloke, and we could do worse. Ollie Sestan’s bum looks too close to the ground. Great to see CP5 not getting too excited.
  12. Too early to know. Not brought in for immediate impact, so suspect has time to do a preseason and show that he can deliver what he showed at WAFL. A big lad that might yet prove many here wrong….
  13. Done, all worthy.
  14. I think Goody needs to change his assistants - time to freshen up the team to take us back to the top…
  15. Port just put down a massive marker - now they will come at us hard to keep their finals run in good shape. Lots to cover off if we are going to be competitive, but we must have our pressure rating over 190 average. Going to be a tough night at the G.
  16. Schache to play backie and replace Maysie
  17. Looking for this to be a ‘bounce’ year.. Hit the draft and get what we can. 1. Max talks about ‘pride in the jumper’ - do you think this is enough to motivate the boys to win the next 3? 2. Assistant coaches - are there the problem? Reading between the lines of Goody’s presser, it seems that the coaching setup is not working. Is it time for mcQualter to walk the plank?
  18. The kid is barely in the door. Of course he would get a full off season to see where he sits. This is just getting used to your team mates ands settling in time. He is not a unicorn, he is a young tall that cost the club very little. Give him space and see what happens,,,,
  19. There is a real lack of second efforts on the chasing. Break the first tackle and stroll away by the dogs
  20. Too easy Purple. How about creating some content of value? What atrocious drivel. So we get kicked when we are the home and the away team. How many gws people turned up last week? Under 250, id reckon. There is your true story, the expansion teams are an absolute FAIL.

  22. What I liked: the first quarter the comeback effort we are still in it with the future entirely in our hands What I disliked 2.5 quarters of poor 2 way running and efforts the weather (it was Arctic there!) 0-8 centre clearances the umpiring Losing We have lost out on playing finals by 0.5% one year not long ago. results are all over the place, and we are still in it. We are not our old ruthless selves and cant string 4 quarters together. What do we need to do to turn this ship around? Can we do it this year or will we simply not be good enough?
  23. Ok, 4 quarters of pressure football from the full squad. Get the midfield to function so we dont lose the centre bounce 8 times in a row. DONT play kids, try and win. We are not out of it yet.
  24. No excuses, I was there. I was wearing 5 layers (5!) and it was still flipping cold. At 4 pm it was [censored] down. I don’t begrudge anyone who did not show up, it was god awful out there. [censored] scheduling by the AFL - late July night at MCG between us and an interstate team ( who had about 30 people in their cheer squad) - 16 k, well done.
