Neither AMW or Pup are of a Harley Reid level demanding a full run, so we should trust the club is using these moments to build lads on the edge of a career into having the best chance of having one. So in the weekend we had the most players under 22 (10). We are without Trac and Angus (or Smith), and Oliver was way down. I’m not sure what the expectation is but we are not doing to badly given this (and a number of other players down on form). I saw 3 quarters of something pretty good. It is a long season, and we dont have the cattle at the moment to be pointy end. IF we can keep doing above average and make the 8. - which I believe we will do - then I will mark it a pass for 2024. Where are your pass marks for this year based upon where we are at compared to the start of the year?

Fleeced? For what may be pick 50ish…. Which would get us…. ??? Lucky to get a one legged tap dancer at that pick. If he plays a few good games her has outperformed.

Was the fix ‘in’? How did you view the umpiring in the last qtr? I think that we got smashed around the ball and the whistle in the last. May said in his interview to CH 7 - ‘when they started getting all the downfield free kicks and 50’s it was going to be tough’…. Your thoughts on this ??

From Trac’s own version, they did not know about th internal injuries until his Hb started dropping in hospital, requiring a second scan to find the issue. It moved him from a 3/10 to a 10/10 trauma wise. There could be no way anyone at the club, Trac, an external doctor or any media show pony could have know or even guessed. So, everyone can hop off and get F*ed. Get well soon to Trac is all people should say.

Really the Swans and hawks are in form atm, everyone else is a bit of a guess. Cant trust too many to play their best footy this time of year, and expect some upsets.

So, just sayin….we ain’t dead yet. Sure we got problems, and everyone is kicking us while we are down. Im sticking fat (perhaps I need a ticket to fairy land…) If we can work out how we want to play, and get back to pressure in every contest as a non negotiable, things will turn. 2 games out and a week off. Let’s go in the second half and build towards the finals. Confidence is infectious.

Thanks DD, i greatly appreciate your efforts. My thought was that if we are trying to do something different, we might (for example) have lower pressure acts but more uncontested possies? Some of the scores in comparison to previous are disastrous, so I was really asking if there was an explanation in the change of style, or have many fallen away so much?

If we are playing differently, then isnt comparison to previous seasons not very valuable? The numbers on their own are woeful. I dont have any clue how they are trying to play- nor do most of the team going on what i saw….

Nothing is ever as good or as bad as it seems. Have we lost our way? It feels that we are modifying our gameplan and have lost our DNA. We seem confused and have a lack of confidence in what we are doing. Can you please discuss and maybe help me see a ‘bright side’ to all of this,
