Who do i want to win? Like choosing between getting cholera and typhoid.

So if we have been developing a red and blue-print, would the team like to consider the blue and red-print? (that is, is there a blueprint for how to beat the Dees based upon what you have seen so far)? Was the loss situational, or systematic? What do we need to do to overcome these losses becoming more common?

The numbers tell the tale. Killed in clearance leading to massive time in forward half discrepancy. Shark inside to outside to i 50 kick and repeat. Lack of pressure, tackles and chase, no groundball skills. So many players off the boil. Needs to be addressed before it sets the ‘how to beat the demons’ blueprint. Also, was that the worst umpiring you have seen in a long time???

I reckon we ran out of petrol off a 5 day break. Did enough to win, then shut it down. I’ll take the 8 points and roll on.

‘Feeding the chooks’ is also a euphemism for what teenage boys when they are left home alone….

The pies looked linke they go the rub of the green with the frees, but at least they put some effort in. Lions were slow, stationary and putrid.

He is a Melbourne player and he has my support. He may be battling for a spot in the firsts according to our system and needs, but the FD obviously see enough value in Bill to invest in two years. Any less would be an insult, any more would probably be too much for where he is at right now. The next two seasons he will either rise to the challenge, or will be a bit player on our list.

I expect lever to get up, May maybe 2 weeks. Not much change required then, based on the team on the park today. If we win the middle we win both these games in Adelaide.

Once you start hard running in-season I would think that is still ‘loading’ - getting hard kms into legs that may have short term consequences but long term benefits. not sure why it couldn’t have been completed before the season proper…

Shows what happens when sides kick to open players with some skill. We should learn (have learnings) by watching these two teams play a game that is so unlike our own….

It felt like we put ourselves under pressure. I was waiting for us to get with the program and realise we had more time than we thought we did. Unfortunately that fumbling simply didnt clean up. Forward work was unrewarded, and lacked any concept until Frittata led up the guts into space. A lot to like in Howes, Windsor. Many older heads were not in it the way they needed to be. Being smashed at the contest and Max getting Dacked by the man bun should have been embarrassing enough to drive some changes, but it looked like in the last they were standing back and the queue was already in the rack.

I’ll get another bevvie and move on.

The model is based upon all the games played so far this year for premiership points! today is dragging like a worm ridden dogs butt on the carpet. storyline’s I don’t want to see: grundy goes forward and kicks 4 JJ shines for bog. the one I do want to see: demons by 25, in a canter.

All the experts can suck balls. All leaping off. If anything, we are better than last year. Not all teams can say that.

I am bullish about us this season. Top 4 ( us, giants, bears and pies). Suspect we turn 5:1 at the bye. Will love spending many hours with you across the season. Who will be the biggest improver? How much will TMAC and BBB contribute? Who is your biggest ‘smokey’ to be a regular (cf. last year).

Hopefully it shuts up all the fugazi about the off season, too….

All very nice for a February kick and giggle. ANB took a long time to get up to speed, Schache monstered in the ruck, Tommo struggles 1 on 1, May looks like he has no flexibility through his trunk (body, not proboscis). Max just dominates. Midfield setup worked, flatter kicks to target worked nicely, as did ball movement through the corridor. No injuries and some kids having a run = big win.

What is a ‘chugga’?

The guy is doing his best to get back in the ones. I wish him all the best. He is a premiership winning forward, and if he does get his body right he could be a highly valuable addition to the fwd line. He would get the first or 2nd best defender, and still has inspector gadget marking arms that draw free kicks. at worst, he helps our other forwards to be better.
