We can f-s inside top 20, can GC match or pre list academy players? It depends on the rules if we are in front or behind on this one
-
That was simply awful. Thrashed in ground balls , contested possessions, efforts and skill. TMac had a mare. On the basis of the last two outings , we are at best making up the numbers, Pathetic. They owned the corridor and we did nothing to stop them. They marked at will and controlled the tempo and the game, Poor by many, bad by the coaching Staff to leave things as is for so long we were done,

I really dislike the pies. Cheats. They throw the ball in tight so often, duck their heads, get all manner of 50/50 frees. Sucks.
-
A game with zero defence. Both of these teams let in 100 points! Good for ch 7 ad revenue,, though
-
Billing’s, Woey and maybe the Kolt?
-
Kossie- squibbed early contests
-
BBB looks cooked. Couldn’t kick it over a jam tin, let alone from 35m. May have moved and marked well, but struggling to get anything going by foot.
-
We started ok, just couldn’t score from our entries like they did. Didn’t help that Kossie and Frittate short stepped and avoided a number of early contests, and we were lazy in Defence leaving too many fast 1:1 s. We did our Richmond thing and simply bombed the ball into hf, only for Weitering to mark, uncontested and unpressured. Was asked ‘can they win it”? At3/4 time. I said they can but they wont…. liked the fight back, hate the start and the loss

Funny place for a hamstring…. In the shoulder! How hard is it to be mildly accurate??
-
And watch the umps ping us the first time we try such things!!
-
I tipped us - and we kept the cats to the target score or 60-70 points. We can beat anyone if we manage that from a defensive perspective. Simply want to shout out to the crowd - it was great to be a demon amongst that crowd. When we won, it was wonderful! Go Dees!
-
No to McAdam. Not yet. We have set ourselves for this 2 game block so no change unless needed. Hold the blues to 60-70 points and we will take the chokkies.
-
For me it’s about keeping them to the 60-70pts. Our game is still evolving, so if we can get this bit right, the result for me is less important. I think we will win by about 17 points, though!

Here here…

Excellent interview, great young man!

No! People need to listen the club. McAdam will play a full game at Casey before being selected

This year we seem determined to roll back to defend from 80 m back. If we get it before then, then we move it forward, otherwise we are not too upset with sides moving it down to the top of the centre square. From there, our defence has been enormous, soaking up a high number of oppo entries this year. I suppose our aim is to sling shot from here forward into a more open forward line and increase conversion of our own inside 50s. Geelong are good at working it fast between the arcs, which means for us to win on Saturday, we need to: create more contests as they move the ball. Post clearance possies will be important dominate the d50 be efficient going forward lots and lots of pressure and 2 way running. If we do this, I am not scared of the cats. Otherwise we are like a hooker at a bucks night…

The biggest issue both Blues and Cats is giving up >100 points, If we hold them to 60-70, we are more than in both of the upcoming games.

The grand old Duke of York said it best: ”when you’re up, you’re up. When you’re down, you’re down. When you are only 1/2 way up you are neither up nor down”. long season, strange schedules. All teams will have mares, and look awful. hope we are setting ourselves for the next two….

Best thing? Not hearing either of their putrid theme songs.

Thank the demon for our defence. Kept the tiggers to 42 points when we couldn’t hit a target to save ourselves. Our game really starts and finishes here. questions for the podcast: was that the worst half of football you have seen us play since the ‘dark days’? how did you see Petty’s game? was that fatigue driven? (Not goody’s presser answer re long breaks) thanks again!
-
If you flush the first half, the second half involved more of the usual suspects playing the way they should have. Petty is an interesting watch, so inaccurate in front of goal. BBB looked like he couldn’t kick over a jam tin at Casey. TMac was an absolute disaster in the first half, but turned it around in the 2nd. Goody said in his presser we were using the longer breaks for increased training (the dreaded “L” word!). For the cats game, we need to be cleaner going forward and continue to be absolute misers down back. Will be a real litmus test for us…

Day release from prison is easier one day of a week than 2 for those Richmond supporters
-
Is the game on Kayo, or just the crappy afl app?
-
Turner offers us flexibility forward and back, as does Petty and even TMAC. Also there could be a weather dependence on who gets a run - Laurie .woey if wet, Disco if dry.
