Have trouble convincing my 5y/o to ever come to the footy with me again. He's been 3 times for an 80 point, 100 point and a loss where we kicked 3 goals in a game. He's going to be one of the kids in the Guard of Honour as the players run on the ground through the banner so that will be a special moment for me. I just hope the players give him something to cheer for during the game. HB

I see and now recall that the game in 2014 was lost due to poor goal kicking. Hopefully we can reverse that this week.

While I'm nervous, I just think we'll have too many hard bodies in the midfield and down back and we'll be too quick for them in the forward line.

Mono with the draft this year being rated as particularly poor, I would expect that Harmes will be upgraded. I think Hunt has the rest of the year to show something or it will be curtains which is a shame because as you say he's had a terrible run of luck with injuries.

Did anyone see the Footy Show last night regarding Neville Jetta's cousin who hasn't signed at Sydney. Thoughts on our chances of getting Lewis to the Dees. Surely there's some connection, Roosy, Fruity, Macpherson plus Nev. Personally I'd love the thought of his outside speed and run.

Old, I know it's hard for them to fathom but it's just so bloody obvious. I would have thought Mark Evans who seems to be a pretty sensible guy, would look at it and say "look this is stupid, supporters want to see their traditional strips, unless there is a obvious clash let's let the teams play in their traditional jumpers."

Agree Titan. Surely at the start of the season the AFL could get the traditional and away strip of each club and work out the likely clashes. There is no doubt against the Saints our clash jumper actually clashed more than our traditional strip. It's absolutely ridiculous.
