Agree Titan. Surely at the start of the season the AFL could get the traditional and away strip of each club and work out the likely clashes. There is no doubt against the Saints our clash jumper actually clashed more than our traditional strip. It's absolutely ridiculous.

IMO Roosy needs to stop giving the players an excuse. He has repeatedly told us that we can't compete with the top teams because we don't have the talent. Going into the games against Freo, Hawks, Sydney it was almost like the players didn't expect to win so they didn't have much of a crack. Likewise against Port, it was like the players dropped their heads after half time because Port were a top 4 team last year so it was ok to loose to them. Every team should be considered gettable. 18 blokes v 18 blokes. It may not be realistic but it should be the ingrained in the players thinking. I don't see that at Melbourne at the moment.

You nailed it BRFE. These are my preferred changes, although I'm not sure Jones will come up after the knock. Our Dees seem to be ultra cautious when it comes to head injuries. If Jones is out Newton stays in. IMO Viney's and Jettas form warrants selection. Also those saying M. Jones and Bail played their "defensive forward" roles. Remember Viney takes Vince's tagging role and Vince then plays the "defensive forward" and I back him to do a better job than either MJ or Bail.

If we play to our best we could win the next 4 games. The problem is the IF. Our best will match it with the Dogs, Port (at the moment) Pies and Saints.

Any chance Fitzy comes in to have a crack at Roughy. I don't see Tommy Mac going to him (prefer Gunston) and I thought Dunny was exposed by Tippett purely on height. I know he didn't have a great game against Sandy but height and speed wise he might be the best bet.
