I think there's a requirement for all clubs to be on site for the 1st and last days of trade period. Don't read too much into JM entering the building.

IMO our improvement next year will come from the fact that these players missed huge parts of the year and will make the team better should they play most of the year: Frost played 3 out of 23 Salem 10 of 23 Tyson 15 of 23 Pederson 7 of 23 Kent 4 of 23 Petracca 0 of 23 Viney 16 of 23 55 games played from top 22 players out of a possible 161 If these players play 140 games next year, we will improve significantly.

Anyone think Dunn or Garland might be used forward this year. Dunn played forward against the GWS final round and played OK. Similar height and weight to Pederson and is a better kick than Frost.

Reading further apparently te swans have a 20% discount which takes 1161 down to 929 which 1095 covers. To be honest this points system confuses me but I'm just trying to work out what we can possibly get in return for the picks we currently have.

Picks 29, 43 and 61 give us 1166 points which takes us over 1161 points which is pick 14 - which I believe Sydney are looking to on trade for one of their Academy players. Could this be the strategy? 50 to GWS for Bugg, 29, 43, 61 to Sydney for 14.

I've watched the Dees v GWS game a couple of times and while you can't judge on a single game, I thought Tomlinson looked very average.

That doesn't seem very good for us to put it mildly, and I fail to see how it will allow anything 'special' to happen with academy draft picks.

Why are we all so confident that GWS are looking to trade in 2nd round picks for pick 8. Do they have to? I think I may have missed something here.

Gut feel is JM is [censored] off because pick 3 was to be used for something big. Howe's change of mind has thrown other plans into disarray. No idea how Collingwood can better, let alone match what GC had offered. Particularly with Treloar and Aish in their plans.

Could the plan be for the club to go to the draft with only 1 live pick (i.e. 6) with a few late picks to upgrade VDB and Harmes? If that's the case what does it matter that we've given up pick 25. The draft is reportedly very week after 20 odd, so maybe we don't bother with a pick after 6. Just a thought.

Reported that Seedsman has chosen Adelaide which makes the above trades not viable. Anything we want from Adelaide?
