I think it's part of the charm though, it's not supposed to be an "interview". It's supposed to be a general conversation, the way Robbo talks about himself and stuff actually relaxes the player, I have never seen players so comfortable around the camera than in that show.

I used to play footy and still play Basketball, it's at times a struggle to choose a fave sport. But one thing has always ran true in both sports and it is mentioned in this video: "You can't outrun the basketball". This goes back to the old mantra that quick ball movement beats quick players.

Have never dropped my love for Nev since I saw him fight everyone in the under 18's. There was all this talk of a flashy midfielder but he never looked it and I am happy Roos has actually used him the way he should always have been used, as a tough, fearless shut down player. The beauty of his development is that he now has the skills to be at this current level. His tough play got him here, coupling that with his enhanced skill is what will keep him here.

I find all types of media hilarious... In the space of a week it's gone from "Roos - coaching legend" to "Roos - ruins football". I laugh everytime I hear someone complain about the "state of the game"... It's just very typically Australian of us to hold onto a certain view of the game like we do in society over social issues. The "it's the way it's always been and should always remain" is honestly hilarious... Guess what Sammy K, the game is constantly changing and nobody cares what you think anymore. I loved what I believe it was Wayne Carey said on Talking Footy a few weeks ago, something along the lines of "all these people who talk about how bad footy is and how great it was in the 80's and 90's, what were they watching? I played then and there were still terrible games, everyone remembers a classic and thinks thats how footy was, but 5 games each round were boring blowouts as well." Then he said something like "maybe they mean the 60's or 70's, I don't know but if they are going back to how it was 50 years ago, I think it's time to move on".

Was def mentioned in trade period... Tyson is a star, my boy and I am so happy we got him instead. But in all seriousness Rockliff is also a young star, think we would have been happy regardless.

Nothing more irritating than paying extra so good to hear that it should be fine for GA members to scan in. I am paying an extra 10 bucks to reserve a seat in the MCC which annoys me, but it's worth it to bring the guests I am bringing, get those crowd numbers up!

Man.... He captured my imagination more than any player we ever had. I would go to games when we were being belted just to see Jurrah. Sadly, he will be a forgotten player in the long run because of his short career. However, if by some miracle the chance ever came that he could return, I really hope we rookie list him. I am not sure many would agree with me though, besides the fact it could be great from an on-field perspective, I know people would get bogged down by the criminal factor. It's about rehabilitation, not career punishment. Footy should be no different to every job out there. Maybe I am numb because I am so "American sports minded", but to me, if you can play, then you play.
