People acting like Davey is useless etc makes me so bloody mad... I want to meet all of you keyboard heroes and unleash on you. Yeah he had lost a step, yeah his career is coming to an end... but show some respect for someone who has given us many great memories. I swear, I hate 90% of MFC supporters, disloyal pack of sooks.

Humble brag to myself when I called this last Thursday... To all who say "source or gtfo" and stuff like that... In my opinion teams need a good to great tagger who is usually just an ok player. Clint Jones from the Saints. Ryan Crowley from Freo. Alan Toovey from Collingwood. Nick Smith from Sydney. Troy Selwood from West Coast. None of those guys are stars, but play vital parts in big games. I am not worried about Jordie, when the class develops around him you won't even notice his negatives.

Moloney isn't going to picked tonight and has played his last game at MFC... expect an announcement next week, week of semi finals at the latest..

Plus if Beamer wants out I don't really blame him.... He is bitter with the direction the club has taken, I am slightly bitter to and I would understand where he is coming from if he wants out. Our club and fans are never ever loyal to our players, so why should they give a stuff about us?

I hate it that MFC are disloyal to loyal players (which is why we should keep Rivers)... However Beamer has been pushed out of our side due to his lack of effort... So I think it is time for Beamer to go...

Look I don't want to seem like a hater like RR probably does... Like I have said, I do rate Watts, he will play 150-200 games and could be a premiership player. He just isn't as good as NicNat and I doubt he ever will be, that is all I am trying to say.

You know what good clubs have? Confidence in their direction and ability to hold onto players... I don't believe NicNat's go home factor had anything to do with why we picked Watts. Fact is we thought we were getting a gun CHF. If anybody didn't pick a player because they were scared the player would go home, then we are pathetic. Does anybody realise how rare it is for a go home situation? First off usually players want to go home from other cities back to Melbourne because Melbourne is a great place for a young wealthy footballer to live.... It's like Scott Thompson has scared MFC fans, and it is very sad. The fact that people bring up the NicNat would have gone home if we drafted him argument is ridiculous (and reeks of desperation). NicNat lived in Fiji, NSW and WA by the time he was 16.... I reckon he would have been good with a move... Is Buddy moving back to WA? People said that of him as well.... Answer is no, because as I said, young wealthy footballer living in Melbourne = win.

Complete nonsense... Frawley plays on a man and zones off, Mcdonald plays on a man and zones off. Watts may occassionally find himself stuck on a forward but it isn't for the duration of a game. He rarely has an opponent throughout the game. I love Jack Watts, he is my fav player, but I am sick to death of Melbourne supporters treating him like a baby to be protected. He is treated by fans and club as if he is still a first year player, and I feel that he believes that within himself. Here are the facts, Jack is highly skilled by hand and foot, however Jack lacks intensity and struggles to impact games. I don't know why the above is so hard for people to accept?

I love Jack Watts.... But I am man enough to put my bias to the side and admit we got this wrong. These guys are entering their 5th year next year... There has been enough time to judge. We drafted a 196cm key forward, WC drafted a 202cm ruckman. One is getting possesions as a loose man in defence in a terrible team, the other is tearing Collingwood to pieces in the ruck. To say we got it right at this point proves you do not watch other football teams.

Exactly.... every week teams tag either Hayes or Goddard. I constantly hear the "we have no stars" talk, but when one becomes available we turn our nose up at him? Melbourne mentallity: "I don't want to take on a star who is touted as a captain of another team when we could save money and pick an 18 year old who could be the next Addam Maric"

Haha don't get to excited, you just mentioned a brownlow chance, rising star winner, rising star runner up and a best and fairest winner.... Fair to say that at this stage they are a few classes up than our 3 picks. I still have hope though!!

Blease is one of a few players who could really be in our next premiership team. He has big moment player written all over him. All he needs to develop is something that even slightly resembles a defensive mindset and he will be a gun for us.

Yeah people are putting wayyy to much emphasis on 2012 Cloke who is clearly struggling for form under the pressure of his contract negotiation. Cloke is the strongest contested mark in the league and is practically unbeatable one on one. Plus he is bad this year.... so even when he is bad he kicks 45 goals? Well we could use some of that bad Cloke right now.

I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that getting a game at a top 4 side is a little bit harder than getting a game at 16th placed Melbourne.... Bate wouldn't have played 2 games at Adelaide (might sneak 1 due to someone being injured) and to suggest otherwise is to drastically over rate the Melbourne playing list. Bate is slow, bad when the ball is on the deck, lazy defensively, has one of the slowest turning speeds I have ever seen, is predictible, has size but doesn't use it and his strong hands have not been so strong over the past 2 years. On the other hands, Knights has break away speed like Sylvia (not a fast guy but can break from a pack), he has a booming accurate kick and the ability to shrug tackles. He isn't an All Australian and he won't be a best and fairest winner.... But he is better than Matty Bate is right now by a looooooong way.

Clark looked like he had lost his edge before this season... Sometimes stars need a change of scenery. If anyone complained even the smallest bit about getting Goddard I would be absolutely shocked. Fact is, most are just saying "do not want" because they doubt we will get him. Goddard would easily be in our top 3 players for the next 4 years.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Macaffer was drafted in 06' yeah? Is he even eligible for free agency?

Chris Knights is Col Sylvia without the hype... If you could get Sylvia for free in FA you would, so a big yes to Knights.
