  1. Instead we had to put up with Jobs4mates Watson that reads player stats and has nothing much tactically to add. The guy does zero footy media anywhere, but lands special comments on Friday footy? Laughable.
  2. If I had to pick a best quarter of the 8, I'd still take the rich v Coll last quarter for the contest.
  3. We'll have to call him 009 if he's conspiring to undermine and usurp Kozi for his position. ?
  4. Which is Fantastic. However if you're in a European country where it's unfortunately dirt cheap, the smoking is ubiquitous and just dirty to have to walk through!
  5. Aside from covid issues, I hope the fags were just curiosity or temporary lapse. I bought a pack for the first time in 5 years last night after too many beers. Had a few predictably digusting puffs and then through the packet in the bin. Bloody waste of money. Spargo being a regular smoker might explain why he doesn't have the energy to kick it 30m!
  6. At least the 16 mins made it faster for me to fast forward through the match They finally had clean possession of the ball, I'd be playing for the draw too. The pies have lucked out in avoiding extra time these past 10 years!
  7. "Do you want the good news or the bad news first dear? Bad news. Kozi has been suspended for a week And the good? So has Spargo .. I'm guessing someone made this gag already, but I CBF reading 4 pages of dramas.
  8. It takes time to develop and produce a vaccine that will eliminate a disease
  9. He played there against Richmond and was near BOG for us by half time. He has the tools to play there and would be a useful option in there to develop with his ball use and aggression.
  10. Imagine all the demonlanders, living life in peace.
  11. I mean it's better match discussion than anything on FTA/ch7 and more akin to fox footy pregame in their "war room" - not complaining.
  12. Unless we return to our 2018 i50 conversion form, the horrible beatings will not continue. We'll be back to the 'Rely on Jordan Lewis to whack Cripps and regain momentum and overrun them' days of close encounters. Or who could forget the round 22 loss in 2016 when we had a chance to make the 8 with 2 games remaining. Yup, she could go either way nowadays.
  13. To get more Carotene and melanin into his system.
  14. He probably will become a premiership legend, into his mid 30s at Hawthorn.
  15. Sorry mate, did a ninja edit because it was over a year ago, wrong info!
  16. From being an injury prone player? Might always be managing his knees.
  17. I would just hope the club is prepared to gamble on a bank loan to pay his 2 years out at the end of year, if its more of the same on field for the next 16 matches. Banking on a new coach turn around and final$ windfall in 2021 would surely be more cost effective than writing off 21' just to "save" a big payout.
  18. He hasn't trained as a mid and is very inexperienced in general. I think Cripps would lick his lips if Smith walked over to him next weekend!
  19. If you want to see him be Corey Maynarded
  20. Maybe Cripps is a step too far for Harmes, As Fyfe and Bont at peak, would be too. Left field idea that some will scoff at, and I'll preface this by asking: Who out of our mids has the most pesty niggling personality? Who has the best ability to go toe to toe with Cripps? Best build for it? The answer is clearly Clarry. As good as Oliver has been these past seasons, maybe an accountable run with role for him would be a good starting point to the year. Maybe that would make space for Brayshaw, Petracca and Viney to be the ball hunting mids that feed it out or surge it fwd. If Brayshaw isn't accountable, he'll be dropped for another. If Oliver isn't accountable, well the coach will never drop him because he wins it too often. And fair enough. However Putting him into a tagging position does force his hand on becoming an endurance footballer that has to run all day. Maybe this handball/kick ratio could actually only be improved by getting him to play an offensive tag instead of be at the coal face trying to win it. Just a thought.
  21. Planning your attack around Fritsch becoming the next Gary Ablett is a bold strategy DJ. Let's see if it pays off for Goody.
  22. Fritsch still being our best forward seems like a concern, for the forward dynamics. He plays on a 2nd tall from any club, or Lever/Petty and he'll be kept quiet. May blunts TMac, understandable. But then Brown, Weid, Jackson, any reports on forward work? Contesting? Marking? Goalkicking? A lot is riding on these boys. As well as Petty if we also plan to slot him forward
  23. Or we could just criticize an underperforming coach that is hired by (ie isn't) the club and anyone put in front of a camera to sing their praises. As we wait patiently for the club to make a move on getting in the next Neal Daniher...
