Just cancel the 2020 season so I don't have to spend another 6 months reading about our poor inside 50 conversion.

Maxy’s Open Letter to Members
Tunnell Ball!! To be fair to Fitzy, he was just ahead of the curve, waiting for the rules committee to catch up.

Elite Talent at Melbourne FC
And ironically, to counterpoint those downplaying the big men, it took a prelim masterclass from a giant controlling the air with contested grabs to topple Richmond for the only time in 3 seasons. Mason Cox exposing Rance was the key difference. He's not there, and the Toiges climb their way back from a 4 or 5 goal smaller margin. He absolutely dominated him.

It was all about Panasonic Cups in those days.

1988 Preliminary Final
Why? Some sort of agreeememt with the big wigs sitting in that awful solitary megatron stand towering over the plebs on the commentary side wing?

Why are we always playing finals at Waverley in 87/88 ?

Hawthorn Demons
If we would have had Luke Hodge and Buddy Franklin then yes. Although first we need Croad to trade to Freo.

Robbo & Green Review the 2000 Qualifying Final
One of the best games ive ever seen us win alongside the 94 win against Carlton with my dad. I find that bitter sweet though, as its kind of embarrassing that these are the quintessential wins of my 30 years barracking, and no grand final wins etc Stunned to put it mildly, a fight broke out on the ponsford upper level after the siren. I assume it was a livid blue not used to having a finals win not served up on a silver platter and a gloating demon fan giving it to them after they prob gave it to them all 1dt half We had a ceiling that was well below EFC unless we learnt how to FLOOD them, which in retrospect, we shouldve done. We were beneath them as a collective and did not have enough football talent to negate any physicality they imposed. I mean with all due respect to our defense, but does: 26 Daniel Ward 27 Anthony Ingerson 44 Alistair Nicholson HB: 42 Peter Walsh 28 Matthew Collins 21 Steven Febey Look at all like a premiership defense? Honest battlers that give it their all, but were blown out of the water. I know our forwards didnt give much of a yelp, but they were simply matched up well with a competent defense. And our mids gave it their all too but we just could not stem the tide when they had too much strength on every line inspite of any thuggery Out gunned pure and simple, nothing to do with balls. You dont get to a GF without balls.

GAME 6: Demonland's Best/Favourite Demon 1988-2020 - Tingay vs Jakovich
I recall at one stage Norm Smith winner Peter Matera, and Tingay were the two best wings in the competition before the position lost its fashion

GAME 6: Demonland's Best/Favourite Demon 1988-2020 - Tingay vs Jakovich
Jako would be murdered by zone defenses, STINGA could still get a game on our wing. STINGA

Obscure Ex-Demons
my criteria is nobody bringing up his name in the 3 or 4 yrs ive been lurking and posting. Marcus Seecamp is another, not obscure, but i think im the only one ive ever seen bring him up! i think it was a convo with you Rod about bringing in some muscle to stand up to opposition belting Gawn behind play.
