POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs St. Kilda
Ben Longs high free on Tmac was his pathetic attempt to get revenge on him, for standing up for kosi earlier when Long bumped him off ball. Loved seeing it.

GAMEDAY: Rd 02 vs St. Kilda
Will be a cracker. Langdon has so far proved many of us wrong that said we should've targeted Hill. So far. To be fair, he did Improve it last year right around the time of the "red myst" fox footy critiques.

NON MFC: Rd 02 2021
They did the same back in r23 of what I think was 2014 or 15 when Bris needed a win to make the 8 v geel. Dying seconds, ball in dispute... Chapman dives onto it and the ump calls a ball up instantly. Edit: 2013. @7m20s

Angus Brayshaw
But but.. imagine all the young guns we can draft with 2 of Carlton's first round picks in the pick 10-15 range and a bunch of picks in the 30s ?

'W. Hoever' is the perfect nom deplume for a wing position that anyone on the list has had a go at, for the last 4/5 years ?โโ๏ธ

Perfect 10 for May in coaches votes
Can a Steven May win a perfect 220 in 2021?
-
Can a full back win the brownlow?
As much chance as us going 22-0, which is probably what it would take for him to poll 25-30. But then Petracca would end up with 40!

We're going to borrow Omac and sub him in there

Concerned
I too watched Carlton and thought 'damn, maybe another team thats gone past us' But let's wait and see.

Farewell Oscar McDonald
I can't be bothered digging up a 2019 post, but I do recall making a joke that we should throw Omac forward and watch as he turns into Wayne Carey, turning our season around and carrying us to a flag. Goody did it a year later for a quarter wasn't it? Anyway, it was fantastic seeing Oscar perform well last night.

GENERATION NEXT 2021 with Troy Chaplin
There was a moment where he burst away from the pack to receive a handball from the congestion on the boundary wing, he ran and kicked it to half forward. If he can do that often, it's just what we need.

Mark Maclure "Soft Culture" Comments
Rohan Connolly also called us mentally soft and predicted, alongside Finey, a 13 or 14th finish. Can't say I blame the lack of trust. Although that far down triggered some blood boil! Comparatively putting EFC above us and StKilda in 3rd (Finey) was laughable biased of them. This was on Footyology podcast, which i think is one of the best shows out there.

Rating the coach against his peers
On a wintery Melbourne Friday night in 1999, Fremantle ran out onto the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the 11th time, still seeking its first win at the home of football. Sitting on the bottom of the AFL ladder with just one win after nine rounds, the visitors faced up to 12th placed Melbourne. When all was said and done, Fremantle walked away with a historic first win and a goals record that stands to this day. Former Adelaide star Tony Modra, who had joined the club at the start of the season, was unstoppable, booting 10 goals in the 54-point victory. Freo ruckman Daniel Bandy dominated the stoppages, easily accounting for Melbourne big man and former teammate Jeff White. Stephen O'Reilly, Andrew Shipp and Clive Waterhouse were also very good, while future Freo star Jeff Farmer was one of the only Demons to compete strongly. But this night belonged to the flamboyant Modra. Five goals in a blistering 15-minute burst in the second term was enough to see his opponent Jamie Shanahan benched early in the second quarter in the Demonโs 150th game. Fremantle coach Damian Drum was relieved to notch win number two for the season. "They will be able to wake up in the morning and feel like decent human beings," he said.
