Did anyone hear Grant Thomas on SEN this morning saying he had heard rumours of issues within the side and that Brad Green was thinking of leaving at years end along with Silvia who wanted to go to Adelaide (we can only hope)...both wouldn't be worth more than a 2nd rounder IMO...thoughts?

my god, getting rid of Green would be a dream come true. Since start of last year is the worst offender of 'going missing' in our team.

Sylvia does not look the loyal dedicated type. pick 20 for him may be good.

Sylvia's 2 above average games in 5 years may not warrant a top 20 pick.

We won't get jack for Sylvia, should offlaoded him two years ago while he still had "potential". Mustn't be entirely happy with his suspension i suspect, and maybe Green's dirty about being dropped form the leadership group.

If there is any way I can be of assistance with these negotiations please let me know

Sylvia to dominate? His game of football was SHIZEN SHIZEN SHIZEN SHIZEN SHIZEN yesterday... so bad I had to say it 5 times

Green to go well lets see and if he does than good bye.

Colin sylvia wants to go well cya to for you have not done to much to be true so far you have been in the media light lately for

being out when you should be home and for being at a stirp club with that magpie maggot befor the CDB shooting last year.

as for Grant thomas l did not like you as a coach and think little of what he THINKS

I love the Dees and hate the fact that everyone wants to start kicking us as we are down .

l guessed we would have a bad year and think we will next year to but l still got my member ship this year .

we will hear a lot of crap this year about our club not just by the media but our work mates our boss,s and our family.

we will rise again and laugh at those who fall to the mighty Demons

What a crock of S H 1 T. Why would Sylvia want to move to Adelaide? He comes from Bendigo. Grant Thomas is a sponge, desperately trying to avoid anonymity.

If it were true, they can both fornicate off. Sylvia's attitude is depressing, and Green is probably the most overrated player on our list.

Load of shot

If we traded Sylvia , I want a first round pick and Brent Reiily in return

If we trade them Green, I want Nathan Bock

Lol so they already know what team they want to be traded to by rd2 of the season. grant thomas what a stupid comment

Yeah, and maybe we could offer up Chris Johnson for Jed Adcock.

I like to play hard ball

I agree with YM.

We are 3 decent KPP and a fast midfielder (yes a fair whack) away from being a good side.

It is the Colins and Greeny's that will come good at that point, but arent good enough to lift what is around them at present.

I believe they would star at Adelaide.

One beacon of light is that we will be under the salary cap by a fair way, and have a lot of draft picks.

If we can find some one in our department to do a good deal, we may seduce a star or two from an interstate club.

We have the satellites but not the stars, we cant seem to grow our own so we should trade hard for them.

I would like to think that CC is our man, if he cant do it... etc.

Ahh Grant Thomas - the enema of football!

It sounds as though he's been having too much sugar on his cornflakes.

Even if it were true I want our footy department to become tough and uncompromising - no excuses, no second best. If there are those that can't stand the heat then show them out the kitchen door.

I hope theres nothing to these rumours, if there is - no wonder the teams showing nothing on field. If the players don't even want to wear the jumper - they aint about to start bleeding for it are they?

I think Sylvia would be a very good footballer in a good team.

He is strong, and has skill. If we could move the ball faster and get him a bit of space at the half forward line, I think he would be very good.

Hehehe... if Fremantles record is anything to go by, we'll probably trade the no: 1 pick for Leo Barry

Grant Thomas was a shite coach and is a shite media personality. If anyone pays attention to trade rumours in round 2, they are smoking some serious [censored].

Green isn't worth a top 50 pick. You'll get a top 15 pick for Sylvia.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
