Pretty handy ins and about time with Ward and Miller.

Disappointing to see Buckley dropped but is good to see another youngster debut! Congratulations Bodey!

Juicey at CHF, that excites me...

Think I've said this before but what do you think if we swapped Neita and Juice?

Dont forget Byron Pickett was a "late withdrawl" via text message

So the actual comparitive ins and outs would be:

Out: Ward, Yze, Rivers, Bate, Miller, Bruce, Godfrey, Dunn, P.Johnson, Warnock

In: Pickett, Frawley, Bode, Newton, Robertson, McLean, Jamar, Wheatley, Ferguson, Holland

We have a chance but again were behind the 8 ball due us being out of form, low on confidence, and don't have a settled side. That said, we have good record V Doggies and maybe mighty Whitey's 250th will give them a lift, there are also some good ins so who knows what could happen!

Good luck to Bode aswell

atleast Riley has made a little step towards the type of team he should be selecting...

if i was selector i would have also made extra changes...

In: L.Dunn, CJ, PJ

Out: Pickett, Brown, Jamar

plus, i'd like to see Bate back is asap, buckley should still be in the team, and i'd like to see Garland given a go for atleast a couple more games...

remember guyz, we are supposed to be developing our list for next season. how is playing brown and pickett developing for next year when CJ, PJ, Dunn, Buckley, Garland and others are in the ressies. Injuries just arent an excuse, bc our youngsters are rotting at sandy

Bate had a bad corkey last week

Godfrey landed funny also but can't recall what it was

Edit: I see sylvinator beat me to it

Yep, GREEN NEWTON SYLVIA is a lot more inspiring than BROWN ROBERTSON (inj) GODFREY.

although why is Jamar still in???????????

Dunn in , Holland out

Then I would not have one tbing to complain about

But anyway, the team is looking good and I think we will roll the Doggies

ps. I am escited about jace Bode, even though I havent seen much of him I have hear good reports ie. good speed and a long kick

I was at the game earlier in the season, and we did okay. It'd be nice to come away with the win this week (just one more) - I think we're a better chance than in most of the remaining games.

So the actual comparitive ins and outs would be:

Using your list, something like this:

Then - Now

Dunn - Robertson

Bate - Newton

PJ - Jamar

Bruce - McLean

Godfrey - Wheatley

Rivers - Frawley

Warnock - Ferguson

Ward - Bode

Miller - Holland

Yze - Pickett

Interesting that Holland, Pickett, Robertson, and Ferguson are playing while Bate (inj.), Dunn, Miller, and Warnock are out.

On the flip side, Ward, Yze (inj), and Godfrey (inj) aren't playing, while Newton, Frawley, and Bode are.

More enthused about this lineup than I have been for quite some time. A first gamer plus an exciting half forward line - Fantastic.

If Brad Johnson is out, we're a real chance. First time I've said that for a few weeks too.

Very happy with the side.

Definitely worth making the effort of coming straight from work.

Dunn, Buckley and PJ ahead of Holland, Jamar and Brown would make it perfect, but Holland can't get the boot after he played so well last week.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
