I like him a lot. We need more though with Salem slowing down, losing McVee and I don't rate CJ as a long term prospect. Question mark on if Rivers will move into the midfield but his kicking is questionable at times. Lindsay is doing an apprenticeship in the back half and will move into the midfield in time, doesnt appear to be a natural defender.

We're really missing Bowey at the momet. Another lockdown player that can hurt the opposition by foot will be worth their weight in gold.

I like Sam Switkowski - good pressure small forward, good kick.

Don’t think he would be worth a whole lot of cash or would be worth much trade capital.

Seems to get a lot of the ball as well.

Some team’s going to look like an absolute genius or an absolute fool offering Jed Walter a million a season over six years because he could turn into an absolute star or an absolute bust, not sure if I want that to be us or not. Need an extended look at Jefferson and Kentfield before I make that call

Kentfield I don’t think is a gamble, Jefferson I’m not sure on.. not sure he will ever have mongrel or muscle to compete.

Seriously credible from what I've read. Grew up around Bacchus Marsh (family still there I believe), went to Maribyrnong College, played for the Western Jets and supported the Dogs as a kid.

If he's leaving SA to come home ...

Another one to consider is Cooper Hynes and see if he's interested in partnering back up with his former teammate in Langford. Out of contract next year, but if the doggies throw stupid money at Butters a few players may become expendable or search for greater opportunities and cash.

So Rivers played, after being added to the injury list mid last week, which he wasn’t on early last week. Interesting.

OOC players I’d target also including those that can’t get a game or might come out of the team once injured players come back.

It's not credible. Barracking for a club as a kid makes no difference. He'll go for a crack at a premiership and who gives him the most money. If we continue to play like we did against Essendon we are no chance. Plenty to play out. We can't afford to lose draft picks on Humphrey he's not coming to us. Armartey is a player of interest number 2 or 3 at Sydneymay want to be the main man at another club and we have plenty of cash to spend. Doubt King would want to come to us. I think we have to draft our way out of trouble.

I find it slightly strange that in this day and age where the slightest, most obscure hint that a move might be on the cards leads to AFL.com.au and SEN speculation that lasts potentially years, and young players leaving after one, two or three years is now often shrugged away, that Harley Reid doesn't get mentioned much. He signed a two-year deal not an eight- or nine-year deal.

Probably far too expensive if he does have any interest in returning to Melbourne, but we did throw the kitchen sink at West Coast in his draft year.
