Has any player ever hated contact more than Nick Daicos? Cale Morton, maybe?

The worst thing is that they are actually changing the rules so that you cannot even touch a player when they are about to kick the ball.

It does not even have to be a hard tackle – Just a little bump or touch will do it. They just have to fall over like they have been shot.

Anything vaguely hard and you will miss a week.

Slowly slowly being diluted down to a semi-contact sport.

I wouldn’t mind having taken Anderson in the draft.

Taken 37 picks after we took Matthews.

Blah, blah, blah. This is a horrible game of footy. Collingwood are playing the Ross Lyon, keep them under 60 points, game plan. The same plan we got crucified by the media for paying the last few years.

Now it’s Collingwood doing it Garry Lyon reckons it gutsy and determined. Spare me. It’s boring.

What a snooze fest!! A draw would be the only fair outcome.

Gotta respect the discipline of the pies players to keep this style of play up the whole game, a few mistakes would bring them undone

Watching the Shockers tonight gives me deja vu - bomb it long to the big pack.

Just don’t look like scoring.

This is a garbage game.

Isn’t ducking prior?

Yep.

Being saying it for weeks.

There is so much of it going on this year and the.muppets adjudicating keep rewarding it.

They need to be penalised. Both players and umpires paying it.

Umps blow the whistle so quick.

Itd not that hard to pick up.

And quite a few have form.

It's annoying and will decide a great game soon both an individual game and as a whole.

Wake up AFL

Bang bang ... bang?

You beauty.

How about dropping the ball though.

Against the suns our tackling wasn't rewarded but ducking is.

Imagine trying to explain this to someone whose never seen it before.

they were far from impressive, but Freo got the job done

pies inaccuracy cost them dearly

i hope the conditions aren't the main factor when we play tomorrow

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
