Who gives a [censored] umps favored North. Carlton and their fans deserve this. 31 years and counting. This is the only time I approve of [censored] umpiring.

They keep saying at Carlton that it’s psychological, but I’m not convinced. At the end of every game they’ve played this year if the game went for another 5 minutes they just would have lost by another 4 goals.

They aren’t AFL standard fit.

Roos were so spirited and desperate. Great to watch as a neutral supporter. Carlton are in huge trouble which is such a shame..... not.

Carlton 22 pts up with 10 mins to go

5 goals to zip

after last week it is truly pathetic

Voss gone tomorrow. get the cross and nails ready

It's a self fulfilling prophecy at this point.

SENSATIONAL START TO EASTER FILTH SHIZZEN, And CARLTANK EVEN MORE SHIZZEN

Between the ears.

Felt a bit sad seeing Voss’s facial expression after the siren. He knows.

Will he be re-appointed on Sunday?

We replaced the Pies in the 8

Carlton’s season is over

Maybe, but not sure this is all on Voss.

Do they have the players? Weitering off really hurt them, though it's more than just one player.

This feels like the Saints game for us last year that was the writing on the wall for Goody. There is no way they can continue on this path. This is the fire starter that should spark change. Bye bye Voss, time to go.

I hope not, looking forward to more months of fumbly, directionless coaching

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
