After every one had long gone there was me and Kalani chatting for about half an hour. Anyways I mentioned Jeff then apologised adding he must be sick of his dad coming up in every convo with us sentimental fans. He surprised me with what he said about this. He said he not only understands it but he loves it and that Jeff has explained it to him. He said becoming a Demon was never in question and that’s largely because of what Jeff’s told him about our club and our fans.

This is a wise head on young shoulders and we’re blessed to have him.

Let's not forget their maiden win with top-up players was against us too. I was at the 'G that day and we made them look like a top four side. It was absolutely infuriating and nauseating.

Injuries piling up is a bit of a concern, we don't have that much depth at this stage of the list development....be nice to get a few soldiers back soon.

I love their streak of finals losses but I hate that their last winning final was against us.

This is #2510 on my reasons for hating Essendon list

Unless they get over the unbeaten Dogs this week they will be out to avoid breaking what would be a club record of 18 consecutive defeats when they take us on in Adelaide.
