Once again we killed the clock with 2 minutes to go beautifully.

Nice coaching Kingy.

Good call.

Langford Sparrow Rivers will provide grunt and class, maybe Kolt too who must be learning lots from the best in his tagging roles. Lindsay

Windsor,, Sharp, Kozzie and maybe even Cuzzy for run and flair. Who knows about Onley and or Taylor?

I'd say who knows about Sparrow, Rivers, Sharp, Kolt or Trelly at this stage. All have plenty of work to do but they can contribute in other ways.

Are yours like mine, Carlton supporters 🤗!

?

No they are not just alot of shouting and carry on.

That’s a possibility.

Max and Tmac chose past players who’d played with them both. If a player wasn’t there it’s because they couldn’t make it or chose not to attend. But the club also had a say in who’d be invited.

Morning, it was said earlier that Clayton O was there. Last night Ms Wilson said he was invited but did not turn up. And that Melb was extremely disappointed , made a huge Comment about it.

clearly she does not like anything about our club.

Or, and stay with me here, she's just reporting the facts of the matter. How does this reflect poorly on Melbourne in anyway, it reflects poorly on Oliver.

Matt Lloyd said if Kozzi was in a better team he would be talked about as the best player in the league by end of the season.

How does the quality of your team indicate the quality of a player? If anything, it's the opposite. Harder to look elite in an average team.

Probably just Lloyd trying to have a subtle dig at us. We are not a poor team, the bombers are. We are decent, thank you very much.

I do think this statement can ring true if you're an 'icing on the cake' player who needs others to get him the ball and bring him into it like a Real Madrid setup.

Kozzie is not this player. He's the icing, the cake, the box and the transport it took to deliver it to the store.

Except that it has been noted on this thread that he was there. And a number of other players not in that photo.

She did not ask enough people that question .

Went with blue supporter mate to MCC members $55 visitor pass prime seats Moron group of Carlton supporters behind me. Not rude as such but loud and then BAGGING KOZZIE AND FRITTA in first half. ("12 million over 9 years for a dud") They shut up in the second half and turned on their own team even when they were 20 points up. How good was it when they were leaving when we were only up by 11 points up !! I just said "Going home boys" ... No reply Best $55 I have spent My mate called it at 3 quarter time. He had seen this movie before many times. Just sat there in silence... LOL A great day !!!

I love how Kozzie’s reaction to that tackle was “THATS BALLLL”

in a comp full of fake macho men a lot would say f this or f that but Kozzie just went into crowd mode 😂

It was also noted on here yesterday afternoon that Oliver didnt attend because he was on a bender. That same person has a close connection to a current player on our list and has a 100% strike rate.

Last night, Caro pretty much confirmed the exact same information that had already been noted on here.

I'll take this information as 100% fact. Caro just reporting facts.

It doesnt sound like he was there

He wasn't, neither was Trac or Omac even though its been reorted that Omac was there and Gawn confirms this.

But damn you Caro for reporting factual information.

Funniest moment of the game, Zac Williams trying to smash Kozzi when he tapped it on for that magnificent point by Fritsch.

Kozzi gives him a mouthful as he is unaffected and Zac is helped off the ground

Why do some of our supporters just make stuff up?

OMac was there, Oliver was there but hiding somewhere.

If you don't in fact actually know...don't make up bs.

Some of our most highly esteemed demonlanders have said these things.

People take to the bank what some of you say, regurgitating it as fact.

More facts, less fiction.

FINALLY the good folks in the media teams show all the lead-up passages, not just the kicks! Enjoy:

@No. 31 Strong start from your boys, but not to be

At least you are a MFC member so you have a chance at watching finals footy

Cheers 😁

Not really surprised how Sunday transpired. Similar pattern to Sydney and Richmond games and much of last season.

I never like watching my team lose but in this instance there are positives:

  1. Great day for Max Gawn on his 250th, one of my favourite players and he with Kozzie and Fritsch were (and admittedly a couple of dodgy decisions leading to goals helped) instrumental in this great comeback win for the Dees;

  2. A big nail in coaching coffin of Michael Voss. He simply can't continue coaching the Blues in 2027. I have immense respect for him as a legendary player, a good bloke but he is not a head coach for the current style of football being played. He either is too stubborn or hasn't been able to adapt to the changeing nature of modern footy. He can't make rapid in game changes on the run either. In another era where contested footy was more crucial it might have been different but we live in the here and now.

Hoping this Iran nonsense dies down so I can then go on along Euro holiday and avoid a chunk of the rest of this season 😁 [being a sucker for punishment I will still probably watch games online]

Been happening for a while now.

We all appreciate inside info that people provide but when it comes across as blatantly lying time and time again just to try and score brown points of "being in the know" then you come off looking incredibly stupid.

For me, it makes no sense at all to invite a heap of ex players, some of them premiership players and multi B&F winners, and then proceed to take a group photo without them while they were 'in the toilet' or at the snackbar.

Not saying it's impossible but it just doesn't make a lot of sense when you go to the effort to organise something like this for two greats of the club.

People make mistakes I guess. Maybe they thought they saw these people but it was someone else.

People may have confused our former red head midfielder for Claz, even though their hair is the only similarity, I saw TMac talking with Oscar on his phone, nice touch, lovely to see Jack Watts hand Paddy his No.41 guernsey pre game, a lot of faces looked familiar but I could not name, it was a great turn out of ex-players for Max and Tommy. What a bloody great day and Huge win for our Heroes and our Club, just mind blowing what this group did in a half of delightful football, we kicked 14.4. ❤️💙👍image.png💕

Now I was not there but a number of landers have said they saw OMac or CO13 others say no. I would really like to know what is true

Max Gawn said they weren't there lol. How clear cut does that need to be.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
