GAMEDAY: Rd 03 vs Carlton

Can't see us winning this, Carlton may not be finals-bound, but they still have too many weapons, especially around the ball.

Hopefully we can at least be a bit more competitive over 4 quarters than we were last week, and if so, you never know. Would of course be great to get it done for Max and Tom, but footy doesn't always work that way.

Our clocks go forward an hour overnight the first ball up will be 6.15 rather than 5.15. I will be watching and giving advice to the team and coaches from the other side of the world.

Game should be over prior to brekkie so I can celebrate with cup or two of coffee.

I think we will win by a margin of 20 points. It is a big game for the team with a couple of huge milestones. A big, big thank you to Max and Tom, you have both been great for the club.

i think CHF is based in Europe hence clocks going forward today. Our clock goes back next weekend.

we're a big chance to win this.

the key is winning enough ball.

We absolutely can't afford to start like we did against Freo. do that and we're toast.

Fantastic milestone for Maxy and TMac. What warriors they have been for us.

I think we're in for another exciting game at the G and we'll get the job done by 15 points

Go Dees.

100% correct. there will be 9 hours difference for a week

Let me see

I think we start poorly in some ways

6 goals to 3. So three down

Half time

7 goals each.

We then kick 3 and 3

They get one and one

We win by 18 points plus

Go Dee’s and we end up happy we really were consistent throughout the day

Headed to the G today to see Max & TMac celebrate their 250s with a big W!

Go Demons!

Like wise here, bringing the kids they want want to sit near cheer squad anyone know where that is today and do i need to reserve seats we have General administration memberships.

21oC and Sunny

Should be a BIG crowd

Max the Legend 250 games after 2 ACLs

Voss with his career on life support

2 Picketts angry after a down week, back on the G to run riot

Demons to hammer them by 3 points (cripps with a touched goal review after the siren)

If you haven't seen them, the club released some videos of Max and Tom going through their careers, great watches and has me pumped for the game.

I just want to see us play well over the 4qtrs and the rest will take care of itself.

I do hope you are right and the Demons win. They have to beat sides like Carlton. A defeat would not be good for the rest of the season. Congratulation to Max and Tom. I hope the team puts in a performance worthy of their Stella careers.

Absolutely spewing I'm missing today due to a pre planned family birthday.

Gutted I'm not there for Max's 250th mainly but now will miss tom's.

Just hope for a win & a fantastic start.

Hope there's a good crowd to show up for our boys.

Good luck to cross on hos debut to.

Go boys

We’ll be in Bay M33 up the Ponsford end.

Bays M31 & M32 are GA.

Of all the days... I have a function on and will not see a single kick!! All glory, laud and honour to Max and TMac.

This is a very 50/50 game for mine.

Cripps is likely to rip us apart, we do not have anyone who can play on him and compete size-wise (Culley maybe?). Kolt or Sparrow probably go to Sam Walsh who is finding form. If we get badly beaten in the midfield, we lose.

They only have plan A which is contest and pressure. IF we can get the ball to the outside, and use it well, they cannot go with our outside speed.

Dees by 10 points.

Probably no surprise but I’m hella confident we’ll win today, and win convincingly.

Carlton is experiencing a collective mindset of loserism (yes I made that word up). Remember… 10% physical and 90% mental. It’s above the neck where the power lies.

The mighty [censored] Dees by debutant Paddy Cross - 41 points ❤️💙

Let’s get back to running hard both ways and attacking the game with flare and fun filled play.

I would like to see Culley more through the middle, Kolt to lock in on Walsh and better form from XL and Langford.

Looking forward to celebrating TMax500, Cross’ debut and getting the dub over a mediocre team that has had the wood on us.

I want to see a ‘W’ in the right column, and I think I will! Our run and dare will be too much for their stodgy game style, and we’ll run them off their legs in the last quarter, if not before!

………. and if the four points is ever in doubt, we’ll get over the line for our two 250 game stalwarts.

Dees by 5 goals ❤️💙.
