GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda

Featured Replies

Xavier Lindsay has had some soft contest today. Has been poor defensively

i think this will be an old fashioned shoot out

and hopefully we can last the distance

Melbourne, when we get up by 5 points, any chance we could kick another one just to get further ahead & not let stkilda kick one to get back in front

what’s this game where you kick the ball to forwards who mark it and then kick goals?

I know, that looked strangely like a direct pass from Chandler to Miocheck.

Absurd!

Loved that by Checkers.

Smart football

Lindsay just had the defender's equivalent of shave the post on the way through. Got up, timed it, connected with the ball, but didn't quite knock it enough to stop Wilson collecting it on the second grab.

I'm gonna say it, though, this has been a fun half of footy.

After a half of football Van Rooyen is the leading goalkicker of those without a second game. Which presumably means by the end of the second half he will have caught up.

Noticing Tholstrup working really hard to get up and down the ground. Hasn't always gone well for him when he has been on the spot (such as that behind) but his head is in the right mode.

Early days, but Roo may have arrived...

Love it.

Roo is too far to score…

🤣🤣🤣🤣🔥

Bloody hell this quarter has been exciting to watch!

thats some kick off a step from roo

career best game easily

Van Rooyen now 8th in the Coleman race with a game and a half in hand.

OH DAMN YOU GOALPOST, I HOPE A DOG [CENSORED] ON YOU FOR EVERY MORNING WALK FOR A YEAR.

Steele and Culley getting into the game around the ball. Making a big difference.

Man I love Windsor’s dash.

And how good was that from Petty

Howes, Laterelle, Fritsch and Lindsay have looked feeble today. Latrelle gets a pass because of his freak goal.

Defensive network through the middle looking poor. Back 6 looking shaky.

Transition and forward play looking epic. Roo and Checkers - woo hoo!!
