Make an outlandish prediction for 2026

Zero media leaks about controversial off-field shiite from the Club

My prediction is that by round 10 Tommy Matthews will have cemented his spot in the side.

Even more outlandish would be "Zero media leaks about controversial shiite from with the AFL Commission""

I will not make a deposit in the swear jar when we play Collingwood this year

Surely your swear jar has bought itself a mansion on the coast by now, has moved out and is blocking your calls.

Shameless widespread acceptance of, and interest in, the Wildcard Game when we're mired in mid-table mediocrity late in the season*

* I'll fall for it too.

...like Kade Chandler being named in our Rd 1 side ahead of Jeffo.

Here's your chance @picket fence

3 goals in 6 quarters of footy isn't a bad return for a small forward.

P.S. I know the Rd 1 side hasn't technically been announced yet, but Chandler would need to be around at Friita's place helping out with the dogs for it not to happen (please let me not have just put a jynx on him 😖)

Jeffo is injured, your logic is therefore flawed, also, you cannot compare a small to a tall.

And my late addition: "The AFL and Channel 7 admit that Thursday night football isn't popular."

I second this!

I like it. Footy on more days is good for me!!

The AFL changed the centre bounce rule because the ruck clash would look far more spectacular.

I predict that by Round 1 the AFL will force FOX/7/Kayo to actually show the ball up properly in full screen every time. They often show full screen repeats of players celebrating etc with the ball up only in a small box at the bottom right. And sometimes they even miss that.

And to be totally outrageous, I predict they will show the positioning of players before the ball up for more than a microsecond.

You're such a handsome hound
You'll wind up in the pound
All you can say is bow-wow-wow
You're in the doghouse now

It was a grand old flag
Yes, it was swell
But you bit the hand
That fed you so well
