We're not here to talk about Carlton. We're here to talk about Melbourne.

edit: I know you have a soft spot for Carlton, but how would you feel if it was an Essendon supporter talking about their team on our board?

Agreed. there are plenty of forums for opposition fans. It would be nice to have one site just for Demons fans

Nice promotion

Can’t wait for some day games at the G

I chuckled at the part where Steele was picked up from St Kilda - well done.

I like the latest promo. I wonder where it gets shown. Is it just for members or the wider public?

I think I'm on record already as saying I have no issue with No.31 posting on our site.

What we filmed today isn’t part of the Awaken Your Demon series. It was a plug for a thing called ā€œThe Passā€ which is something the Duke of Wellington hotel will be offering Dees fans. It includes among other things discounts on food and drinks on gameday.

We filmed it at the Duke; Rooey and JS9 were the ā€œtalentā€ along with the DA. Some of us had speaking parts. But it was soooo cringe. Like, painfully cringe. Also, as an actor Steeley is a very good footballer 🤣 He stunk it up repeatedly. He had one line of six little words and they had to do a bazillion takes. I overheard the director saying to a crew member ā€œthat guy looks really awkward.ā€ 🤣

Rooey not much better. šŸ˜…

Broden K is just great in these type of vids. I wonder how much of these he writes.

So many cool little Easter Eggs in there, a few of which probably only we as supporters would get.

Whelan/Hird
Little Eddie/Culley
Hibberd running with Cup above his head one handed
Langdon on his bike
Steele at Luna Park

Kings face getting on the lift at the end was gold too

Social media team!! šŸ‘

Fun fact we discovered today: Roo was at Optus Oval on that magical last Saturday in September 2021. He was sitting high up in the stand above where Tracc kicked the first goal. That was having earlier played in the curtain raiser in an under-18 side, a game in which he kicked the winning goal. Rooooooo!

Audibly squealed when our old no.14 ran past Lingers with the cup.

One of my favourite Demons.

Yep that was brilliant!

Just saw Promo No.2.

Quality, even better than the first one.

Dee's social media team are smashing it this year šŸ‘

@Ghostwriter where are you in this video?

On the boats or in the lift?

On the boat, sunburned and seasick but having a blast regardless 😁 also marching over the bridge and in the raising of the banner.

  • PREVIEW: Gold Coast

Melbourne’s slow starts have been a troubling theme for a while. Against the Suns, they started slowly in both of their games, they trailed by 5.7.37 to 0.1.1 at quarter time atĀ Peoples First Stadium in Round 16. This season, the story has remained the same and if the Demons fail to shake off this issue against the unbeaten Gold Coast Suns, they will be in serious danger of capitulating once again in their Easter Sunday showdown.

The Demons are back at the MCG for the second week in a row. They face the Suns off a 15 day break without their prized recruit and former Demon champion Christian Petracca. This will be a massive test for the Demons who will be facing a genuine Premiership contender. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: ā€œIs Melbourne even at the ground?ā€ Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.Ā
