Featured Replies

The List has been finalised for the year, so It is time to start the List and Contract Details Thread for 2026.\

Some more detail on our coaching has been added,

Why the hell was Heath given a three year deal? We’re way too generous sometimes. Three years for Sharp last year as well, they both should’ve been two

I don’t think he would have come to Us for 2 years GS, he fills a glaring hole in the list.

Saints weren’t even offering 1, would he have retired?

Will be a nice clean out at the end of 2026 me thinks. Few names under 2026 that won’t get another contract/Retire

Update For Player Numbers

image.png

Thanks for taking this over after the efforts of @Lucifers Hero, sadly the number of players with a premiership cup next to their gets smaller by the year. Hopefully we can turn this around in the not too distant future.

The absolute number 1 priority this year is to extend Harvey Langford after 2027 prior to Tassie coming in 2028.

Tassie will be circling this bloke if we're not careful.

Everyone will be circling him.

My word they will be if he keeps up those goals from 50+ mtrs off one step.

However Tassie have a ton more money to spend and isn't there speculation they'll be allowed to pick up one uncontracted player from each club??

Just been announced on Melbourne's socials that Harvey Langford has extended to 2028

2029 Katrina.

Top effort Red and Blue Forever.👍💕

Expect that Campbell, Melksham , McAdam & McDonald would be their final year. Laurie, Jeffo, AJ & Henderson would definitely need to show something to stay on the list. Jeffo needs to get himself back and fit and show us he’s got it.

It's Game Day and the Demons return to the MCG after a dismal performance in Gather Round to face the reigning dual Premiers Brisbane. What do expect to see from the Dees today?

  • PREVIEW: Brisbane

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.
